The Cake House, Every Last Promise, We All Looked Up and Noughts & Crosses seem like a good reads. If I see it I may pick it up! I know they are not recommendations but I really love the way you run down the books you are picking up, The hair was great this week for sure!
one thing i absoloutely love about your videos is hearing your thoughts like that point you brought up about noughts and crosses was really really interesting. I'd love to hear more of it :)
I wanted to like We All Looked Up so much more than I did, I really hope you enjoy it! And can I just say how envious I am that you have in your possession Everything, Everything? I want it so badly!
Brilliant spring book haul :) I always add a few extra books onto my TBR when I'm finished watching your vids, hehe! And girl, your hair is beautiful (along with your makeup)! xo
We All Looked Up is so good. It was my most anticipated debut of 2015 and it did not disappoint. The writing was good and the characters were so interesting and captivating. I loved it so much. I know it's going to be one of my top favorites of 2015.
oooooh. The Cake House sounds gooood! Great haul! I also like that 101 Moments quote book! So beautiful! You always add tons of books to my ever growing TBR list. XD
A friend lent me Noughts & Crosses a couple of years ago and I really liked it! Very captivating story. I can't really say much about the writing style because I didn't really pay attention to it because I just wanted to know what happened. I need to read the last book of the trilogy! I read Americanah too and I loved it! Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a great writer, with a great writing style. I even found myself re-reading certain sentences of the book. If you like it, you should definitely read 'Half of a Yellow Sun' by the same author. I'm glad I found your channel, it made me want to read again so thank you for this Ameriie!
Adjara Drsb So glad you're back into reading! And I'm pleased to hear her prose is of the re-reading sentences variety--love gorgeous writing. Thanks for the Half a Yellow Sun tip!
I love your book hauls because I so often get to know some books that I otherwise probably never would have found. I feel like book hauls are kind of like "oh take a look at this", which for me is better because I'm crazily influenced by bad experiences with books from people (had that with Uglies unfortunately while reading it).
Just finished Ember in the Ashes today. Got it from the library after you talked about it in your last video. (You do book teasers so well!) That book was so good. Trying to get friends to read it so I can talk about it detail. Read Americanah last month. Loved it! I didn't want it to end.
I LOVED the Noughts & Crosses series (4 books so far), such a well written YA series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. FYI: Get the tissues ready. ;)
***** Oh nooo, tissues...really?? I'll be ready for the feels, then lol! I'm glad the entire series is good. I made a point to pick it up from the Waterstones in Picadilly Circus last I was in London because I've heard such amazing things! Thank you! ^_^
Books Beauty Ameriie I liked it, I'm not sure if I will continue with the series yet. It was a page turner. It would be nice if you did a review of the book once you read it!
I've been trying to find Americanah at the library since forever, it's always checked out! ;__; I might try looking up the others books you talk about though.
Books Beauty Ameriie ooooooooo that sounds amazing I just discover booktube and I'm obsessed I just keep finding more books and series I just feel the need to read!
Hi Ameriie! ^_^ I'm intrigued by the "Noughts & Crosses" book. Seems like an interesting premise. Looking forward to your thoughts on it. "Americanah" was very good; I think you'll like it. [The author] writes from a place of honesty, in such an unpretentious yet illuminating way. Her book, "Half of a Yellow Sun," was also great. I'm currently reading "The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August," since you previously suggested it, and I must say: I'm enthralled by the story. It's the perfect blend of science, mystery/suspense, and human interest/slice of life. Can't wait to finish it!! I have "A Tale for the Time Being" by Ruth Ozeki lined up to read next. Have you read it?
Vaughn Richardson Yeeeeeesssss! So glad you are enjoying THE FIRST FIFTEEN LIVES OF HARRY AUGUST! Can't wait to hear what you think about it when you finish--you must let me know! And thank you for the HALF OF A YELLOW SUN suggestion.
LoveVIP92 Thank you! And it's stark white. It doesn't have an official name because it's actually a gel manicure so I don't know what they used (they were labeled by #).

Most of the books sound really nice.
I like that you seem to pick books not just to enjoy a good story but to benefit from the writing too. C:
The Girl at Midnight sounds interesting! I need to read Everything. It sounds so good.
randomfreckles1831 The Girl at Midnight supposedly takes place all over the world in addition to NYC, and I hear it's all described beautifully!
That's so neat! It's nice to have more diverse places in YA literature!
