Harold Perrineau ( Boyd ) acting was phenomenal in this episode especially the scene with him and his son and he told him to choose who you want to put in danger. Boyd character reminds me of Rick in the walking dead both characters are trying to keep them alive. It's a shame that Harold Perrineau and Andrew ( Rick ) don't have Emmys

I just caught up to the whole series today and I've been thinking " This comment or action has to connect to something later", but so many things happen in this show, that I forget what those comments or actions were lol. This show is great at making the viewer forget small interactions because of all the messed up big interactions lol.

Like by algorithm and standards that comment in the show obviously holds more meaning... but my only thought is it's the creators or produc3rs of LOST AND they just over saturate everything so they have wiggle room when they decide what path the story is going to go down... because it's not fleshed out... its at the will of the writers imaginations... Thats something I noticed that made me appreciate books adapted to series. It's set in stone to an extent and you can't just keep blowing smoke in our face until you come up with an answer.

So I think this has to do with time travel , when I saw what happened to Dale I was immediately reminded of “ the Philadelphia experiment” which is when an air craft carrier supposedly time traveled with the the crew and all. And when they returned some of them were still alive but literally burned into the deck and walls of the air craft carrier! So it’s gotta be time travel to get home or some kind of dimensional travel !
I get that the fans are speculating season 3 is going to tie up a lot of loose ends and answer a bunch of questions, but I hope it’s not going to be a “this is this” “this are this” “she is her” “he is them” sort of answering. Like apparently this episode answered a question from season 1, but I would’ve needed a youtube channel like this to point it out. Edit: like here’s my questions or concepts that weren’t answered really or I’m not sure where they’re going with the writing - + monster bile + blood worms + the roots of Jade’s symbol. His obsession with it but what will it become of it. Is the “roots” a map of where each tree takes you? + what was the man drinking the blood from the skull that jade saw? + what are they going to do with the tarot card reading and Tillie being a potential mole? + Finally, Fatima said something about her eating rotten crops. I felt like the writers in season 1 did a good job at making dialogue that would be “common sense”, but there are times in season 2 (which I get why people didn’t think was that good), felt like the characters said and withheld a lot of dialogue that felt like a bunch of dumb choices or decisions. + I understand the writers are from Lost, so it makes sense that the long game is the vision, but i’m not sure how long this series can go without explaining somethings (or at least figuring out how they’re going to tie it in). + julie/elgin and the polaroid. What will become of that? + the connection between kimono lady and fatima’s baby? Will helping the kimono lady actually benefit anyone? Nothing paranormal that happened so far has been good in Fromville. + Poor Randall. Poor kristi’s fiance (forgot her name, malerie?). No one is talking about the dungeon. + what was in Randall’s book? + why
The numbers in the tree bottles are motel room numbers. Victor's dad pointed out the fact that the motel was not there despite the pool and sign being there. Each of the monsters stayed in those specific room numbers at each era or time period. Now their motel" is that underground cavern where they reside in.
Ohh the reason why tabuthat ended upon Camden Maine was because the lunch box had the numbers to Victor's home, Dale probably didn't have any numbers to get transported to so he landed in the middle of the wall
What if Boyd somehow lures one of the monsters and places the talisman on the outside of the bus? Wouldn't that prevent the monsters from leaving the bus, just like how it works when they try to enter a house?
Said the same thing about Tabitha, even planning her demise because she was so whiney. Now I am excited to see her. Fatima, the opposite. We are not sharing her experience enough.
My theory for the far away trees goes like this. A far away tree will get you anywhere within Fromville randomly, but if you hang specific numbers in bottles (just like coding) you will pick a specific place every time you use the far away tree, that’s why the bottle tree always got people to the lighthouse, but when Tabitha & Jade took some numbers off of the tree, Dale got sent of to somewhere else. Because they altered the outcome of the destination. Either that or the Entity will send you anywhere they want.
There are two possibilities,either due to removing those bottles with dates made a change or the person chosen by the boy in white only can go to the lighthouse

Every one seems to forget that everyone was killed except for one person. Maybe when people figure out this place and far away trees, then maybe there is a reset. Maybe the monsters keep the people focused on them in order to keep them alive. No one or no thing can be completely evil. Once the reset occurs,so people become additional monsters, a fate worse than death or living day to day in From....
This would make sense but Randell said that the monsters have a routine unless something extra happens, the monsters/previous townsfolk are probably puppets controlled by the entity, cause during the latest episodes they talk as if they're one being
they better speed up the reveal majority of fans are fed up with how little is so being revealed and may stop watching which will make future seasons being cancelled
speak for yourself homes. I like the slowburny nature of it all. Once everything will get revealed it probably will start getting boring. The only think that would be a massive letdown if they dont explain ANYTHING at all. Lets hope that wont be the case.
These are fairweather fans. It's like they've only watched streamed shows only and never watched a show on TV with 24 episodes, where in 75% are fluff, and not much happens. Your life in reality doesn't move that fast. Calm down. Nothing else is as good as From IMO so go lurk elsewhere. Every episode has been fire this season. I think episodes 1 and 4 have been the best so far.

Is that name a clue? A couple of shots of Victor in that scene showed the sign behind him and we know that the creators and directors of the show don’t show things by coincidence.

How come no one mentions the out of touch approach of Ellis in every scenario. His character is so useless and kinda just revolves around fatima and nothing else. Every significant event Ellis proved to be baggage. He was needed to be saved couple of times. Never helped with the food problem or when rescuing people since the first season until now. Never tried to help boyd with his journey to find answers. He never left the town at all. Hell he was not even near his mother when she finally snapped and shot everyone. He only showed when it's too late and the very reason boyd had to kill his wife. The only thing I remember about ellis is flirting with his gf and some rants how his father can't solve everything. He was missing in every plot point in this show. I hoped he fckin saw what happened to Dale and realize how so out of touch he is with everything that's happening or at least realize what the fuck his father was dealing with after his bullshit argument with boyd after the meeting. I feel sorry for that baby being born in that place with Ellis being its father because jesus christ the dude acts like he's on disneyland.
I really dont see them making more seasons. Boyd is the main charecter, and he is losing it. Realistically, everyone will eventually crack, so they cant drag it on forever

I think these protagonists are in their own personal hells. I don't even think all of the people in the town are actual people, maybe NPCs of a sort. All the main characters seem to have some tension between them and their loved ones or guilt for the loss of a loved one. Tabitha keeps running away from her family, but brought right back to them to make a similar choice. Boyd keeps making the decision to lead and take care of everyone over personally taking care of the ones he loves and leaving them. Jade relies on his mind and scientific method of what he sees to stay aloof and apart from people, but he can't trust his eyes anymore and he can't solve the puzzles. The things doing terrible things to them are tormentors or demons of a type. Maybe the small band of main characters were all on a bus that overturned trying to avoid a downed tree. Who knows? Just guessing and pattern matching.
