    I really believe in this theory and I believe it applies to all the characters. An important question is this: why were these people drawn to the city? Simple, they are all reincarnations of past lives and they all must have some event in common where they were connected by some common karma. This may explain the moment in the series where knowing the Origin of this karma is the only way to free oneself. They are the children themselves who need to be saved. They need to remember where they came FROM.

    My theory is, every cycle Anghkooey wants seven children to be ultimately sacrificed. The children are the souls of the current random characters from a past life, and these characters need to find out who they are and where they come FROM to ultimately save themselves. Meanwhile, the kid in white is ONE of the seven children from the previous cycle who was saved by Miranda, and he decided to stay to help save the kids from the next cycle. Tabitha is likely one of the children herself. And Christofer might have been Anghkooey, which might now be reincarnated as Jade.

    Based on my theory, Fromville can be understood as a seemingly inescapable, cyclical entity-a place bound by a mysterious script that forces its inhabitants to repeat roles and events. It's not just a physical town; it's a controlled environment where every individual brought in must fulfill a specific purpose, often mirroring someone who came before. The town seems almost sentient, with an uncanny awareness of each person's actions, adjusting and influencing situations to ensure that the narrative it has in mind stays intact.
    Fromville appears to operate through cycles, where new arrivals essentially "replace" individuals from previous cycles, taking on the same tasks, challenges, and even tragedies as those who came before. This makes the town feel like a stage where the same play is acted out over and over, with slight variations. People like Victor, who have seen more than one cycle, understand that these repetitions are inevitable, and Victor’s insights suggest that he knows everyone's fate is predetermined within this repeating loop.
    The creatures that stalk the town serve as a force that ensures people stay within their roles-whether by killing those who step out of line or by generating enough fear to keep everyone obedient. Boyd’s act of killing a monster disrupts this, possibly leading to changes in how the town functions, suggesting that the "script" isn't entirely unbreakable. This indicates that while Fromville might prefer a specific order, the residents do have some ability to affect change, albeit with unpredictable consequences.
    Ultimately, Fromville could be described as a purgatorial construct-an entity designed to test, trap, and make individuals relive the past until some unknown condition is met. Whether the goal is to save the children, end the suffering, or simply continue the cycle remains unclear. It’s a place where destiny feels imposed, yet acts of rebellion-like Boyd’s-hint at the possibility that the loop might be broken, either by defiance or by fulfilling a predetermined yet elusive requirement.

      If it is purgatory it's basically Lost but not in an island. That'd be awful since the shows share the writers. I hope that it's anything other than a purgatory. Also, "everyone" being important and having a role seems wrong, since some people just arrive there to die quickly.

    I think the bracelet paradox can be explained with reincarnation:
    1. Tabitha created bracelet_1 based on what she remembered from her previous lives -> it was lost by Jim.
    2. Miranda created bracelet_2 based on what she remembered from her previous lives and gave it to Henry -> it was left with Henry and found by Tabitha in his car.
    3. Miranda was pulled into Fromville and in Fromville she found and carried bracelet_3 which had been already created by yet another previous incarnation. -> this bracelet was later found by Tabitha in Fromville after Miranda died.
    So all the bracelets are actually almost perfect copies as each incarnation remembers the original design and recreates it.
    The original bracelet apparently had defect/imperfection so all incarnation are recreating it.
    This would actually explain how Miranda gave the bracelet to Henry but had it at the same time in Fromville.

    Riffing off this, maybe the townspeople made a deal with the entity for the their lives, e.g drinking the blood from the skull, and sacrificed their children. Maybe some from that primal group disagreed but they got trapped anyway and are still trying to find a way out, to break the curse and save the children.

    • @Henrique.Souza0601
      @Henrique.Souza0601 6 дней назад

      Yup, that's pretty much my take on it as well. The monsters are probably the ones who sacrificed the children and people keep getting there in order to free the children's souls or something like that. The monsters are cursed to an eternal life of hunting people by some mother of the children or someone in the town who didn't agree with the sacrifice. Also, I don't think most people there are important in any way shape or form. Maybe Tabitha is, Viktor and a few others. But if the main point is to free the children some entity will keep getting people until it's done.
      I'm just very bothered by that Martin (I guess that was his name) guy that Boyd got the "monster virus" from. They seem to have closed that door already, and that seemed like an interesting path to understand some stuff. If only they made Boyd's script believable, he'd have asked all the questions he could instead of worrying about saving some random dead guy from a wall lol

  • @olafsriffs
    @olafsriffs 11 дней назад +5

    for me this is definitely it. Souls born entirely for the amusement of the town entity and reborn to be kept at bay.
    Maybe the children to be freed are the original souls that were sacrificed to keep the entity controlled within that place, with the condition that their souls will be trapped there forever. The fact that other people start coming into the town just shows that the entity needs more life, more souls to be content, or maybe showing the connection between the different inhabitants of the town and that the town only takes people that are the children reincarnated and their close ones.
    this explains the "this is the only way" quote from the boy in white. He needed Tabitha to reincarnate so that she comes back as a new soul and tries again.

      @@BEYONDPREMIERE I have a whole case on that theory. Just see how everything in Fromville happens according to the inhabitants needs. Boyd found the talismans, the animals, Jim found the vegetables when the townspeople started to starve... I think that Miranda, on her acid trip, somehow connected to "something" that triggered her obsession... I believe the paintings in her house's basement are not visions, but the actual origin of the things happening in the town... Like, she painted them and they materialized in the town, and not backwards. Basically she built the current nightmare they're in, and since she felt like she was chosen, needed to fulfill a mission but failed, her distorted psyche lured more and more people to the town in order to finish what she started.
      Think how in the caves we saw many objects that felt randomly placed down there, including a sticker that we also see in Victor's dad's PC, appliances, toys, almost as if the caves were a reflection of someone's distorted memories (Miranda's) and it happens in the town also, with the bottle trees, the dogs, the bracelet Miranda made for Víctor's dad... If you think about all the fortuitous events and "coincidences" happening in the town, it makes more sense that the whole thing is a sort of a living dungeon crafted after someone's distorted desires...

      @@calwakerzInteresting idea. But when Victor showed Jade the car graveyard (the violin scene) he tells Jade that there are more cars behind the hill that were already there when he and his family got there. Wouldn’t that indicate the town has been around longer than his mom’s acid trip?

    • @calwakerz
      @calwakerz 5 дней назад

      @@Henrique.Souza0601 as many things indicate, that world's purpose is to keep things trapped inside... A loop... People, items, memories... So I believe that whatever entity is trapped in there, is using people to help it to escape; this entity must be using that world's properties to manipulate reality, creating sort of "dungeons" or "quests" with the goal of ultimately releasing it. That's why Miranda's hallucinations became her reality; while she was drugged under the tree, she must have entered in contact with this entity that is probably connected through trees, roots, like some fungi network connecting trees in a forest (the symbol Jade is obsessed with looks like the roots of a tree if you ask me and we already saw them in the shape of roots)
      Anyways
      This entity used Miranda's hallucinations about kids trapped in a tower and everything else she saw (probably still consuming acid at Henry's back) to design the perfect stage for her to help this entity to be released, however, as we saw with the townsfolk and the cicadas, your own dreams can kill you, so Miranda's hallucinations became a reality that eventually killed her before she could fulfill her mission, so because of that the town's entity continued to draw in more and more people in a attempt to find someone fitting enough to finish what Miranda started.
      They're basically living an acid-driven nightmare created by the distorted desires and hallucinations of an artist that crafted these horrible things we all see...
      And ending for this, could be that they find the exit, the faraway tree leading to the outside world but that also caused people to enter the town (so that's why there's a tree in the road) something that probably Victor knows about but can't remember given his previous knowledge about faraway trees and the map we saw he used to find the case in the previous episode, maybe there's a map for the "from tree", but someone (maybe Boyd or even Victor) will stay behind to cut the tree, so this entity can't leave and no more people can enter the town.
      From tree: brings you FROM the outside to the town, takes you FROM the town to the outside.
      FROM whenever you are.

    Ok I don’t think the Fromland or the entity is causing the reincarnation process. I believe that it’s the original spirit/soul that was there from the beginning is forcibly choosing women to be reborn into or enter, in order to end the entire cycle and save the children. I’ll add on the other theory I have about the children being born in the area and sacrificed to/claimed by this entity. The spirit that’s choosing these woman is probably the first woman who had her child sacrificed to the entity, which gave it strength enough to start the cycle and create Fromland. After that it receives a sacrifice or claims another child that’s born there and grows even stronger spreading its influence. This is why I think the same test is going to happen with Fatima’s child and why I believe the Kimono lady is one of the mothers who had her child sacrificed to/claimed by the entity and is trying to warn her through Elgin somehow. Maybe Elgin has some kind of 6th sense that makes it easier for her to reach out to him.

    Just off topic, I find it interesting that lots of characters dont have family, or lived with Grandparents. Elgin lived with his Grandmother. Jade said he lived with his Grandmother in france until she died, then lived with an uncle. and Fatima said her Dad and brother i think she said were killed. and Sara said her brother Nathan was only person she had left, implies she has had bereavement. perhaps there's a link. maybe not. just thought it was interesting. maybe its just how the town picks people, so there isnt too many people looking for them.

    Here's my theory i think that the town and the jungle and everything present in there like the monsters, animals like crow, spiders, boy in white basically everything is controlled by someone lets name him god. The people of that area who lived in jungle whose House we saw in the recent episodes used to pray to that god and they also used to do some rituals to make him happy which we saw in drawings in the tunnels, i think those are made by the tride that lived there but victor said that paintings were made by the monsters which i don't think is the truth because the monsters sleep during day and comes out at night so they don't have time to draw and all. I think that the god is somehow trapped, he wants to be free thats why he trap people from outside world so that they can free him and by making him free i mean from earth not from the village as many people says that by breaking light in lighthouse will make him free and he will control outside world, i think that he can already control the outside world as we saw victor's mom had dreams about that place when she was outside so he was able to control her and thats how he gets people in fromville amd whoever the god is i think he want people to go out in jungle and find answers and i think that's how he will be free as we have seen multiple times in the series that whenever someone went to jungle they have found something good like boid found animals, talismans , lighthouse, Tabitha went outside too with the help of lighthouse which is present in jungle and in recent episodes the asian sheriff found vegetables in the jungle, i think the god grew these vegetables for them he wants them to be alive so that they try to get free from fromville and make him free and we have also seen that the god doesn't want them to discover anything in the town because when tabitha tried to dig hole in the house the house collapsed and when her husband tried to build tower storm came and destroyed bulbs which is the gods power he can control everything there and I think the talisman can't do anything in front of god as we have seen him destroying tabithas house which had a talisman and he can kill people in daytime too as we saw him killing that girl in her dream that too in day time in house with talisman I think he wants them to be alive and he want's them to be afraid so that they try to escape and make him free thats why monsters are there so that they can make people afraid and i don't think there is any way to leave this town , they can only leave when they make him the god free and i think the monsters were people who made this town and we also see their furniture which is in Tunnel with them they must have failed to make the god free and died and i think that the god controlles Tabitha and victors mom and they keep getting dream about freeing children i think that means to free the god and the boy in white is also controlled by him just to foll people that there is someone helping them as we saw when all the people from town died he was smiling and playing and the lighthouse will play an important role in freeing the god

      Elgin’s character in Fromville stands out as particularly enigmatic, with many clues suggesting that he has a deeper connection to the town than most other recent arrivals. His role seems to be one of a harbinger-someone who knows more than he consciously understands, carrying an inexplicable awareness of the danger the town presents.
      1. Arrival with Premonitions
      Elgin’s introduction is notable because even before he arrives in Fromville, he displays signs of unease. On the bus, he has an instinctual, almost primal fear about where they’re going. This makes him unique among the newcomers, as he seems to have a kind of forewarning about the place. It’s almost as if he’s either been there before in another form, perhaps in a past cycle, or he has a connection to the previous residents. His instincts set the tone for his character as someone attuned to the supernatural undercurrents of Fromville.
      2. The Flood Dream
      Elgin’s dream about the flood is one of the most significant pieces of his character development so far. The flood could symbolize a reset, destruction, or a cleansing event tied to the end of the current cycle in Fromville. The fact that Elgin dreams about it suggests that he might either be reliving someone else's past experience or having a vision of what’s to come. This kind of prophetic insight aligns him with other characters like Victor, who also has knowledge that exceeds that of the typical resident. It implies that Elgin is either destined to play a critical role when this event comes to pass or that he is carrying the memories of someone who lived through a similar catastrophic event in the town’s past.
      3. Potential Role as a Replacement
      If the theory about Fromville being cyclical and each new arrival replacing a past figure is correct, Elgin might be a replacement for a character from a previous cycle-perhaps even someone who died during the last iteration of the flood. His dreams could be echoes of experiences lived by that person, indicating that Elgin is meant to take on their role. This replacement idea suggests that Elgin's importance may become more evident as the cycle progresses, particularly if the flood he envisions comes closer to becoming reality.
      4. Intuitive Understanding of the Town
      Throughout his time in Fromville, Elgin shows a deeper level of intuition than many other newcomers. He quickly adapts to the strange rules and behaviors needed to survive, almost as if he already knows what’s required. This intuitive knowledge sets him apart and suggests that Elgin’s connection to Fromville might be more profound than mere coincidence. He could be tapping into a collective memory or consciousness that exists within the town, similar to how the voices influence Sara. This connection might make him crucial to understanding how to either navigate the dangers or possibly break free of the town’s control.
      5. Catalyst or Key Player?
      Elgin’s role seems to be gearing up towards something pivotal. Whether his presence is a catalyst for a major event, like the flood, or he himself is the key to changing or breaking the cycle remains to be seen. His character feels like one that will have a major impact, either by directly taking action that shifts the town’s fate or by serving as a bridge to understanding its deeper mysteries. His ability to sense danger, his prophetic dreams, and his intuitive grasp of the town’s supernatural rules all suggest that Elgin is not just another resident-he’s a potential game-changer.
      6. Connection to the Town's Energy
      Elgin might also be sensitive to the energy or force that drives Fromville. Characters like Sara hear voices, Victor has his drawings, and Boyd experiences unique phenomena, and Elgin seems to have his own connection through dreams and intuition. If Fromville is a place that pulls on people’s fears, hopes, and emotions, then Elgin’s connection to the flood might symbolize a broader link to the town’s essence. He could represent the impending change or chaos that the flood symbolizes-a force that disrupts the current order to allow for something new to begin.
      Conclusion
      Elgin’s character is still unfolding, but he is clearly positioned as someone with a deep, possibly supernatural connection to Fromville. His premonitions, intuitive understanding, and potential as a replacement for someone from a previous cycle all suggest that he is far from an ordinary newcomer. Instead, Elgin feels like a character who embodies change-perhaps a harbinger of the flood or a key player who could either trigger a reset or help navigate its consequences. As the story progresses, Elgin’s role may become crucial in revealing whether Fromville is destined to repeat its cycles endlessly or if there’s a possibility of breaking free from its grip.

      @@MichaelSmith-lm5sl Elgin has visions like a psychic but he doesn't exhibit anything unusual. Tilly acts a little creepy at times too but I think they're both red herrings. Elgin likely can see the future as he has weird visions when he sleeps. I'm thinking from land is a nexus of parallel dimensions where humans and monsters and time travel all converge. The tree on the road is a Venus fly trap and portal in and the lighthouse is a portal out and the ghosts 👻 are spirits of past victims trapped in from land. The boy in white is giving clues to Victor and Tabitha how to get out. So this is kinda like stranger things where monsters from another dimension escapes into the human world but in this case humans are trapped in a monster world. The show keeps us guessing which is what makes a good mystery box show. Hopefully writers aren't cooking up stuff as we go and they have a nice story mapped out.

    I really like this theory. What if all the souls that reincarnate into the town are from the original dwellers of that town. Maybe they all got caught there during a rough winter in the past and took on the wendingo curse which manifested all of their worse nightmares to come true within a spirit realm that doesn’t exist in our dimension. And the only way the wendingo curse will be lifted is if all the nightmare curses are broken one by one. What if Boyd can not be physically harmed by any nightmare manifestation now because he broke the music box nightmare curse. Maybe Victor broke a curse that we don’t know about which is why he is still alive. And maybe now perhaps Tabitha has broken a curse. There could be a nightmare curse for each person in town to solve. The nightmare curse entity wants Boyd to lose hope along with his mind because he seems to be a force to be reckoned with, he found the talismans, created civilization, and broke a curse. The town likes Victor because he is so childlike and complacent while Boyd is coming strong and strategic.

    I don' see grounds for this theory. The web article Victor's father finds about Tabitha's family going missing says she's in her mid 30s. According to the series timeline we are in year 2021 and she's been missing just for 21 days. When the actress filmed S1 she was 39. The iterations mean there's a repeating cycle throughout the time, but that doesn't mean it has to involve reincarnation.

    • @BEYONDPREMIERE
      @BEYONDPREMIERE  11 дней назад +1

      You make a valid point about the discrepancies in Tabitha's age and the timeline presented in the show. The information in the news article does conflict with the actress's real age and the timeframe established in the series.
      However, it's important to remember that the reincarnation theory is just that a theory. It's a possible interpretation of the clues presented, not necessarily a definitive explanation. Those discrepancies could be explained by the town's manipulation of time, memories, or even reality itself. From is a show where the impossible often happens, so a time-bending or reality-altering explanation for those inconsistencies cannot be ruled out. Let's see how things develop as the season continues. I have to add, thanks for always leaving a comment in the videos I appreciate it :D

      And despite that wish, I'm starting to be open to other possibilities. Miranda started having visions after a session with acid. Jade has visions and he was an addict. I don't agree with the idea of reincarnation because we know that Miranda had those dreams and visions about these paintings before she arrived in fromville. but Tabitha never had such kind of visions before coming to fromville. she was completely new to this world based on the behaviors she has while she was still in the village I believe in reincarnation here if in some scenes Tabitha declared that she saw this or that stuff but don't remember how

    I knew it something was off, when i was watching episode 1,2 and 3 i knew it, i even though maybe Victor is Ethan, Victor's dad is Jim and Tabatha is Victor's mother but from different dimension or something like that, i know this sounds crazy but this is just my first draft of thinking, haven't refined yet, and then stumbled upon your video which is exactly what i needed to say. 😅😮

      Hey @dockaiju, that's a really cool idea! Concurrent reincarnations would make Fromville's influence even more messed up than we thought. If the same soul could be in multiple bodies at once, it would totally explain why we see similar people and personalities in Fromville across different times. Plus, it would make the town's messing with time and reality even crazier than it already is! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

    Julie, Mari, and Randall were chained to the wall and Boyd broke the curse. There were 2 skeletons next to Martin, I bet Randall is the Martin in the future and the two skeletons are Julie and Mari. Jade is a Christopher and Christopher ended up killing the town's people. Jade also see a tree of dead bodies hanging in Season 1 episode 6 and I bet the black soldier chasing Jade is past Boyd who is trying to kill Jade for killing the men in the trees. Reincarnations also don't have to be the same sex or race, so what if the monster who went into the bus and looked like it was remembering to drive the bus is actually Bakta the bus driver. I bet the women who Elgin sees in the when he was sleeping is a future Fatima.

    I had the exact same thoughts about Tabitha being Miranda reincarnated, and that Miranda's visions of other "chosen ones" from the past are just her, over and over. I hadn't considered that Jade might be a reincarnation, but that makes sense with his visions! I do think that Fromville is in a cycle, but I think Boyd may have broken that cycle when he killed one of the monsters, because everything has escalated since then, and from the cast interviews I've seen, it's only going to get worse. I don't think the town has had to deal with anyone like Boyd before.

    This theory might be correct Miranda had two children victor and his sister same as tabitha, victor and Ethan have some similarities.
    And we know Thomas died
    What if same thing happend miranda and she did some ritual in the park(where the bottle tree is in the real life) to bring his dead son back
    And she had to do something to do so ( releasing the children from the tower)
    Or
    what if the boy in the white is Miranda's son and he is trapped in the FROM TOWN because miranda failed and remember when sara said the boy in the white wants to help and he is trapped in here like us
    Jim also received a call from his son what if tabihta did the same and now Thomas is also trapped
