You know what this movie reminded me deeply of? Planet of the Apes. Lots of people sat through that movie till the end to hear Charlton Heston say,"You finally, really did it. You maniacs! You blew it up!" It is so awesome because Heston lines are directed at his fellow humans, who he believes paved the way for apes to displace them. In the Signal, it had to involve Alien intelligence to bring it back to earth safely when it was set out to never return. So it was a slap in the face. How can we reach out to anyone and welcome them to Earth??? We will never learn from history that keeps repeating itself. Helen as a spy was hinted at in the TRAILER and the obv lie and shot of her missing the off switch were one of two things: 1.) its helena BUT they'll reveal it early/in a flashback preppin her to go in as 'helly' 2.) its a red herring and helly R only knows the innies so was ashamed to be a spy

I wonder if their jobs with the numbers at Lumon has something to do with pruning aberrant/rebellious thoughts and/or memories from severed employees. They could even be working on the employee that they're sitting next to, or perhaps working on their own brain - that would be twisted (and it would explain why they 'feel' something about highlighting certain groups of numbers).

I think man in yellow was angry on jim because somehow he was using jim like a pawn to stop Tabitha to remember her past (that's why he always argued with her on her experiences about this place) but in the end he agrees with her and start to corporate with her and this thing pissed man in yellow (remember he said to jim that "it didn't have to be this way")and kill him because he was no more usfull to him

cold harbor can also refer to cold spring harbor laboratories in upstate NY which is considered to be at the forefront of molecular biology and neuroscience. I think that's an interesting reference too

So please someone explain why when the first rebellion that happened 140 years ago wasn’t the poison gas released by the mystery failsafe person who knows everyone’s name and kill that silo? I mean the way they explain it basically the same thing happened in the silo Juliette ended up at. So what saved these guys 140 ago?

Calling it a drama is a little ridiculous

In my opinion - not only is 1 of the 51 silos some sort of “headquarters”, the other 50 silos are each assigned to a US state. In the flashback, those two people mentioned a few times about being from Georgia and Oregon (and how they’re so different so maybe they won’t get along), so I think it was foreshadowing that they separated people in the silo by state 🤷‍♀️

Season 2 was trash. Every other minute they do something that doesn’t make sense. Jimmy and Juliette’s part is so annoying and obviously just killing time. I love how it’s supposed to be a surprise that jimmy is the son of the shadow . Like we all know he got locked in there as a kid, and then Juliette proclaims it like it’s this big reveal. Also Why doesn’t Bernard say “hey Juliette, where did you go? Maybe we could go there and live”? After using ridiculous grappling hooks earlier in the series, Lucas Kyle’s decides to use a rope that is just barely to short. How stupid is that. Watching this show felt like grading a paper that was completed in a night or two. Not thought out, extremely obvious “plot twists” etc. (Sarcasm) OMG they tricked Bernard. Totally didn’t see that coming

The arch of the series has some similarities to an old Twilight Zone episode “The old man in the cave”. Where everyone in a post apocalyptic world are surviving on the word and guidance from an unseen man living in a cave, who only communicates with a single person in the group. I won’t give away the entire episode, if you have seen it, you know, but it is a very short story that could have been a very basic ground work for Silo.
