when you say that you need it to be 100x100, is that including the thickness of the walls or just the inside of it?
That is a good question. It would be the inside of the the walls (where the gold blocks go). So it's a bit bigger with the walls!

Yes! Counting the corners and the upper most slab, it will be 104! Although creating the walls from the 100 lay out makes it easier to build up.

How do you make the repeating lights, I'm not very good at redstone lol
It's just a circle of redstone+repeaters on top of the lamps! A few impulses in it and it will just keep repeating ^^
