Are there any safety precautions I should be worried about? I wanted to make a Chainsaw Man mask using another tutorial and make the moving chainsaw using this one Can I still paint it, or would they short circuit anything and leave it unable to be used?
The important thing for this cosplay is the torque of the motor, this is what will make the chain or belt move more easily. So any motor with more torque would be better. I hope this helps :)
@@satsukicosplayAnother minor question, by any chance is it possible to not have the pulley wheels have side parts to maintain the wheel, given that the cardboard is at a close distance and that the belt and wheel are wide enough as to not shift around?
Anyone know of a better motor to use that has more torque? She said it might be better to go with something that has a higher voltage but I’m thinking it’s more torque so the motor doesn’t stall.
Yes, the more torque the better, our only concern was the speed of the rotation, because usually the more torque a motor has the slower it becomes, but that's not exactly as issue, the saw doesn't need to go super fast. But yeah either way a stronger motor is better for this, the only problem is hiding it if you're doing the arm saws :)
I love ur tutorial but I have a question! How did u connect the wires to the battery pack? I bought the same one as you did in your description but mines didn’t have wires attached
Hello. That saw I made it was fat, so I open it again and try to make wheels slim. And I get slim band. Is it worth to convert in slim? Will it work like before? Is there disadvantage to make slim?
@@satsukicosplay I made the slim. But the band was flipping side by side. And my resources got over. I can't do changes anymore. Now I will make by another pattern. I learnd from my mistake. If I made again so It will better than before. I have to learn a lot
We live in Brazil, and here we have this material called " papel paraná " or parana paper, it's a kind of cardboard that is less maleable and generally tougher than plain cardboard, but you can use any material that is hard enough, even normal cardboard can work fine, the helmet saw on our chainsawman cosplay was made using regular cardboard from boxes. I hope this helps :)
@@satsukicosplay okay thank you. I think it looks like it’s what we call here in the states “cardstock”. It’s used in framing and sometimes in packaging.
amazing as usual ❤️❤️❤️ I'm gowilycosplays and your tutorial are so helpful
Awnn thank you soo much! 💖💖💖
Vou fazer 🥰
Hi! Wonderful tutorial :) ive never used a soldering iron before, but what temperature did you have yours at to solder the wires? Thank you 😊
Thank you so much ❤❤

You just need to be careful around the motor and battery, other than that you shouldn't have any problems painting the saw.
Bem interessante. Gostei.
😍 vou fazer sim 🥰
Question, instead of the motor used, could've you use a smaller, less powerful stepper motor?
The important thing for this cosplay is the torque of the motor, this is what will make the chain or belt move more easily. So any motor with more torque would be better. I hope this helps :)
@@satsukicosplay thanks! That helps a lot! Though do you have any ways of making the arm blades thinner with the assembly?

@@satsukicosplay thanks for the reply. Any recommendations for a better motor? Love the videos. Thanks for going into so much detail in them.

I know I'm late but in the description of the battery pack it says it requires 9V battery type snap clip
mega helpful! the extra explanation is exactly what I was lookin for!
Thank you so much! 😍
Muito obrigado, sempre ajudou muito 🌟
Obrigada 😭✨️
@@satsukicosplay de nada 😁👍
Hello, regarding the LEDs of the eyes, did you have to weld a resistor? thanks
Hi! In my case, I didn't need the resistor because the voltage of the led and the battery was the same 😊
@@satsukicosplay Thanks :)

No, it's okay to slim it down a little, it won't interfere with the saw's operation :)
