I made my own chainsawman helmet around 7 months ago or more. It's a bit tricky if you are not using Eva foam but overall fun. It sucked that there weren't many videos on that subject and I had to make the templates by myself but now it's really cool to see you doing it like if it was a puzzle or something.
It was tough to get all the details on the helmet. I know the challenge
how did you make it if not from EVA foam?
@@eyalhecht637 Carboard
The show came out like 4 weeks ago how did you do it
@@nuggies4566 I read the manga in a weekend
My 8 year old randomly came up to me today asked me to go buy materials to make him a Chainsawman costume so.... yeah here I am lol hopefully I can get it don't by Halloween for him.

That's just so cool, bro keep up the good word! One simple question though... would it end up looking weird if i didnt use 8mm EVA and instead went for 4 and 2 only?
It helps me thank you so much!!!
Also can i see what happens all or done
Your pattern is much easier and it even looks cool. You should also make the hands.
What is the difference in size(big medium and small) in the chainlinkit and the full helmet kit?
Awesome

so cool, you should make a stand arrow next.
Stand Arrow!

What can we do if the cuts come out messy like the 45° ones?
Do you have a guide for sizing the helmet?
Can I use instead of heat gun the hair dryer?
others: i wanna make a cosplay
me: i just wanna hit the griddy with this
This looks very accurate to the anime great job! I was wondering, if this doesnt hav 100k views after Halloween do we still hav template or we need to buy it
I'll put the template up for purchase after Halloween, hopefully, we can just get the view count. Share it
To anyone who may be trying to follow this pattern at home without buying the kit: Be very careful, and know that you'll probably have to modify certain parts of it for your own benefits. There are mistakes in the pattern, ie the chainsaw teeth are marked as being for 4mm foam but are really 8mm. I scaled everything 220% to fit my 22" head, but that was too large and had to do a lot of interior padding, or else start a new helmet from scratch. There is no pattern for the mouth teeth provided, so you'll just have to figure that one out on your own, as well as making the ear pieces, which is especially confusing considering the intricacy of the details. The back strut for attaching the neck pieces wasn't wide enough, even though I scaled everything the same, so I had to re-do that part as well.
The parts that work, really work, but it was not the most straight-forward path there. I still did end up with a cool helmet. It was just....rougher than I thought getting there.
Also when buying PVC pipe, make sure the OUTER diameter of the pipe is 1", not the inner diameter. LPT
hey, can you sand me the teeth pattern please? 😩😩
yooo!
I am currently debating on weather buying it or not, it looks clean easy to follow and sick however I’m the type of people who buy stuff and usually end up regretting it and I’m trying to fix it 😅
So is there a place where I could first research stuff about it before buying like for example: what size would be fitting for my head and how do I measure that, where can I find the mechanic parts for it or if they come with the set and any other information- I want to buy it and I really love chainsaw man however I don’t want to spend money and not finish or use it from the stress.
if you got the time try making one. As long as you separate pieces to finish per week its not that strenuous. The feeling of having complete it yourself is nice :) especially when people compliments you
Question what kind of camera are you using to film?
Now everybody can be a hybrid
Você já colocou o link do arquivo do chainsaw Man de graça ?
i have no idea what to comment but I do it to help you with the algorithm haha
You're doing great!
how do you make a roller chain?
guess i better start waiting

@@lorentziwood thanks
Como poner la parte de los colmillos de abajo
*I see Chainsaw i click.*
I think I might make a sock plush of Pochita and then make this mask for a costume.
That would be awesome
Hey, great tutorial. One question though, what were the dimensions used for the piece that was the base of the chainsaw blade. I notice that one was left out of the pdf, Thank you!
I just eye balled it, but it was cut on 8mm Eva foam
@@lorentziwood Awesome, thank you!
This is awesome! When will the template come out?

Wait so the video is a instructional video to follow for the formats in his link?
I cant do one i dont have money.. but its really good video 😁
Can you do Mayuri Kurotsuchi's TYBW head piece? That could really help me... Thanks!
We'll see
@@lorentziwood Thanks!
How necessary is a heat gun for the project?
I meant will it take long
How many A1 Eva foam it needs???
what is the around head mean ?
is it cm or samething ?
Sorry I didn't see the part when making the teeth and the part to join the mouth. What is the name of the object you use to open your mouth?
Can I ask what lights you used for the eyes?
Yes, they are puck lights from Harbor Frieght, only $10 for 3 of them
Just a question could I use this template and make it out of metal
I have no clue
Is there measurements for the sizes? Because I wouldn't know which size to buy for my head
Right now, it's
can you do kaiman from doroheadoro mask pleaseeee
I made it according to the template in the description, why is it so small? Please reply
About How Much money would it take to get everything you need
What’s the difference between full helmet and chain-link
Chainlink doesn't come with the helmet parts
How many sheets of foam do I need for this helmet? So far I have 3(2mm) sheets, 3(8mm) sheets, and 6(4mm) sheets. Is this too much or too little?
hi i was wondering the same thing how much foam did u end up using if u could tell me that would be a great help
@@shayobrien6075 Of course!
I used 4(4mm), 2(8mm), 1(2mm).
I made the largest size he had so this should be enough, this also includes the jaw pieces(but not chainsaw arms). Just keep in mind that you can't be wasteful, I always went back and used every scrap piece I could. I highly recommend buying another 4mm as backup incase you mess up.
@@ZArthritiz thanks mate that was a big help u just saved me so much time and money
@@shayobrien6075 No problem!

Great video! Definitely saving this and watching more of your stuff. However, the editing cuts back and forth between the pattern and you talking are kind of jarring, might just be because I already have a headache though.
Noted!
