@@fabianmartinez5051 I think Plasti dip will give a cleaner look on the front of the helmet since it’s sprayed on but mod podge and flexbond are nice alternatives since they are non toxic brushable options
@@soewithanumber Working from morning to evening over the course of 5 days I managed to get it done and painted, only having to rush over a few of the bigger details on the sides in the end. As my first project like this, ever. In my experience, the biggest time saver was building a home-made bandsaw, out of placing a jigsaw upside down in a hole in workbench. Worked wonders! Without the right tools, like the dremel, wood boring drill, "bandsaw", hot air gun and right types of glue. And a good workspace, it would've taken more than 5x as long to get done, if possible at all! So "With the right tools", is a very big keyword. I'm very lucky to have a dad with a very extensive garage hahaha
Thank you for this! Making this for Sakura-Con 2023 and used my Cricut to do the small pieces. Helped immensely with time - anything with 4mm for small pieces I ended up glueing 2 2mm’s together! In case anyone is planning on making this who has one already!

this is insanely impressive!! even though i wasn't planning on making a denji mask, the video was incredibly helpful. I've only ever made one big cosplay prop before but this seriously makes me wanna make more and even redo my old one. Thank you so much for all the tips and tricks!
Just started working on this yesterday for my first project. Perfect template and only issues I've ran into is having a size 8 head, so I decided to just cut the rest of the back head pieces that size and the fill under, going with a more smooth skeletal look. Then omitting some of the intricate machinery aspecting and going with more muscle/tendon looking pieces for the jaw and to tie the head together to make it my own. Huge thank you for the build!!
This is beyond incredible. My son wants to be this character for Halloween. Not many days left. Better get started!! Thank you. The detail is mind blowing
I have zero experience with building cosplay stuff and using foam, but i'm gonna build this at some point in the next few months when i gather all the materials and honestly as an artist i believe i can do it even without any experience. I am up for the challenge! This is definitely the most complex build of Chainsaw Man’s head that I’ve seen, but I wanna give it a go. Building cosplay props is always fun, and very satisfying when it is completed. It’s cool to tell others that you made the props yourself, instead of buying them.
Oh this is so cool. I’m hitting my first Halloween party in 2 1/2 years this year and have been wanting to do a Chainsaw Man costume. I considered Aki but really wanted to do Denji. This will be perfect. Thanks for the templates and the video instructions.
Made this for Halloween last year and it only took me a week to complete the building! This was my first time ever using EVA foam and even though I didn't have any fancy drimmel parts I could still recreate most of it with smaller exacto blades and sandpaper :) would totally recommend this to beginners who wanna try making a larger prop!!

Okay this tutorial is perfect! I don't know if I'm going to want to do this cosplay, but I know I'm going to use the tutorial to do the weapon part of Juliet from Lolipop Chainsaw. Looking forward to the second part of the video!

That’s ok you’re still having fun. But as far as making it’s just about practice and persistence you get better with every build. I’ve also got a lot of easy to follow builds for new foamsmiths
