I just had my first consultation today. And they looked at my teeth made measurements checked my jaw etc... spoke with me about the next step went over my insurance and billing which I agreed on.
My next appointment is x rays and I think he said moldings, then I go from there.
Don't expect everything at once guys it's a process they have to look you over and make sure everything's 💯 before putting braces on. So may take 4,6 sometimes 8 weeks before you even get braces prior to the consultation.

Can you still get braces with fillings?

You should have all cavities and tooth decay fixed prior to braces, but if you ha e fillings then you can definitely get braces

I hope I get braces I’m waiting for tencare for further info I have a teeth behind my bottom row ,over bite, and gap do you think they will accept and I will be able to get braces?

Every insurance program has different criteria so it’s difficult to say for sure. You’re orthodontist in your local area should be able to give you more information regarding coverage.

As long as there are no pending dental issues, such as cavities - you can usually get braces on the same day!
