  • Here I'm going to show you how to tie an excellent sea trout fly in a natural color, I still made sure the fly is very fluorescent. It is one of my favorite sea trout flies for clear water to use when it is hard to fool fish to take a too unrealistic fly.
I got the idea for this fly from Hanna Huhtala aka @myflyfishingdiary
    / myflyfishingdiary
Her fly was dominating all else when she fished with me.
It was a broken grey shrimp with the middle part missing, revealing the orange thread underneath
I have used this fly in a couple of videos this spring with great success and as promised here is a step by step.
    Material list:
    Hook: Partridge CS54 #4
Thread: UTC 140 - fl. orange
Tail: Ringneck Rump Hackle - Natural
Hackle: Whiting Spey Bronce - Medium Dun
Flash: Crystal flash small - white pearl
Dubbing: Senyo's laser dub - Grey
Eyes: Easy shrimp eyes - Black
    Ribbing: 0,28 mm nylon
    Back: Craft fur - Grey
    Music:
I use music from the Swedish company Epidemic Sound on my RUclips and Instagram videos.

Love the video robert but what would be very nice is a commentary on materials and what your actually doing throughout the tying of the fly but still a fantastic video

Det er jo en Pattegris. En af de kendeste danske kystfluer. Opfundet af Morten Øland og Claus Eriksen for mange år siden.

Sure. The colder the water the better it catches for me. But give it a try.
