I own 2140s and 2132s, I pretty much wear Wayfarer's exclusively. I prefer the 2132s B15 polarized for driving as they're lighter weight and have a bit better coverage from sunlight. The 2140s look way cooler though and even with the tilt they still cover sun very well assuming they fit your face properly. The B15 brown in polarized is amazing for driving, the G15 green is much more neutral and so if you don't want more vivid colours I would go with the G15 as they're keep things much more neutral than brown. The Ray Ban site is very inaccurate when showing how the lenses look, the brown looks way better than on the website. I like them both though so I own both for different weather/conditions, brown is especially nice in the Fall & Winter time.
Bought Original Wayfarer in black color a year ago and I absolutely love it, every shape of it, the tilt is such an iconic thing But today I also bought New Wayfarer in tortoise and dam... I'm surprised how well they are, I can't even describe. Worth to mention they're might lighter than original ones, so yeah btw Tom wore Original RB2140.. 😅
I am Italian, but when Ray Ban wayfarer came out it was under Bausch & Lomb ... a US company, so he is 100% right. Even for us Italians, and even though these glasses are 'made in Italy' (Luxottica), Ray Ban is still considered a great example of a great American brand. The same goes for JEEP. It now belongs to Stellantis (FIAT) but the brand is still felt to be American.
2132 is also made in 55 and 58 size.
Thanks for the great show. Keep up the good work dude.
If you are a smaller person and/or have a smaller face the big original Ray Bans will make you look like a fly. The new style is the way to go.

Not all 2140s are available in 54 mm, though. Many of them only come with 50 mm lense width. Which is a shame.
Technically the sun is not always on top. It’s in front of you more then it is above you
