Mavs have a strength and size advantage against OKC, so they have to exploit that side of the game. Against Clippers you can't really exploit that side of the game because of Zubac and Mann who are quite strong.

Luka and Kyrie playing defense was surreal

And Shaq O'Neal is "fool and stupid" big giuy for saayig that SGA is better than Luka because SGA is a 2 way plaer.. Luka is also a 2 way player because he can defend Lenard and PG in their victory over the Clippers.
Luka is their best player, but Kyrie is showing what a leader should be. Under appreciated star
Kyrie is really showing that closer ability. He can take over games down the stretch and finish off games even if the team might be struggling to get a bucket
Luka also deserves his props as a leader. He played through being sick and injured and still led all players in the series in minutes played, plus-minus, points, rebounds, and assists.
Not to take anything away from Kyrie's leadership which is also very real. And credit to Kidd and the Mavs organization for embracing Kyrie 💯 and allowing him to lead their young team.
Just about anything good you can say about Kyrie, you could say the same or similar about Luka, and vice versa... and that's why the Mavs are so damn tough, *there's TWO of them!* 😮

@@imdbtruth Facts brother. Massive props to Luka for playing through. Kyrie indirectly motivated Luka after having stinker first games, defensively and efficiency wise. I believe this team can go all the way the way everyone is playing.
The Mavericks beat the Clippers with a limping Luka. There is a tremendous upside in Dallas and they’re still Getting better.
Yeah I was thinking that too. And not only was Luka limping his shot was not falling like normal at all and they still won
Facts. Luka shot 25% from 3PT in that series, so the law of averages says he's probably going to have a stretch where he's averaging over 40% from 3PT for several games.
I love how Luka's reaction is always the same when Kyrie does something spectacular! Luka is a big reason for the unmatched chemistry of the Mavericks, he just wants to win, so he really does love having Kyrie.

A lot of it will depend on Luka being healthy, getting his knee and shot right. But also Maxi Kleber, they need the versatility he provides, plus his defense and size.

@@Swish2430 Doris Burke was right at pointing out that it's not like the Clippers are actually making Luka uncomfortable, it's just that he is missing shots - contrary to some other people that think Dort can really defend Luka. If Luka can get the necessary lift to hit his stepback 3s, I can see the Mavs winning, otherwise it might be a toss up.
Funnly i think Mavs dont need his efficientcy for win in series. Witch is HUGE upside.
@@alesksander I also don't think they need, but like I said, if he is not shooting well, it becomes much more dicey. While I feel much more confident if he has his usual game, I could see him avg 40ppg if he was healthy against the Clippers.

Want to see crazy stats look at the Clippers shooting percentage from the point they went up 31 points in that game 4. They have also been outscored since then by almsot 80 points in two and a half games.
Yeah part of that reasoning is because of Kyrie honestly too his second halves have been amazing

I think this is the most likely outcome. The amount of offensive second chance points Mavs will generate this series might be an all time high record.
in all fairness i think harden and pg13 were rly good this series .(well they are all stars)
im not saying they did something amazing but they were best versions of themselves( in play offs) since .... long time
im cheering for the mavs its different reality vs game u dont care about
there were moments in this series where harden and pg13 got me spooked .
(also harden and russ are still some of my fav players - its hard to watch them loose, or cheer against them)
i think okc should be easier . they have no play off exp . (they beat pelicans but ... )
on other hand luka had couple of weaker games , my odds are saying he's gonna step up now so kye can rest
