Guy Savoy, act II, in the Hôtel de la Monnaie, on the bank of the Seine. The setting is sumptuous - six rooms adorned with contemporary works lent by François Pinault -, and the host, true to himself:
Restaurant Guy Savoy, ranked amongst the very best in every gastronomic guide, is situated in Monnaie de Paris, spread across six 18th century salons offering views onto the Seine, the Louvre, the Pont Neuf and the Institut de France. Here architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte envisaged a setting at once restrained and contemporary, where works of art stoke the fires of modernity and where the dining table becomes a veritable theatrical stage, focusing and capturing light. Sincere and passionate, inventive without excess, unfailing generosity. Irresistible! Guy Savoy’s dining room is one of conviviality, warmth and impeccable service, where the cuisine expresses the sensitivity of a chef wholly at ease in this modern era: Artichoke soup with black truffle and layered truffled mushroom brioche; Red mullet ‘swimming in the sea’; Millefeuille ‘à la minute’ with Tahitian vanilla… As Guy Savoy puts it, “Cuisine is the art of instantly transforming produce rich with history into joy.”
Number one World famous best restaurant “la liste 2022” Incredible and fabulous experience. Many creative and delicious dishes, great service in the modern art dinner room.

🥰
I went there ten years ago. Had an excellent meal you cant fault and the customer service is at another level. They still send me a christmas card every year, and i only went there once.
Yes, so sweet restaurant, warm and good service with excellent outstanding food. I very like it too
I have the same experience too.I went for lunch, and still get a Christmas card.
Very nice
Yeah me too. Never went there
They sent me a card that said never show your face again🙄
I love watching this when I'm eating, it gives me a sensation that the delicious expensive foods I saw in this video are the ones I eat even though I ate a local pizza and fried chicken in my place. again thank you Gourmet B Gourmet for sharing.
Thanks for filming this for us! ♥ - This was a much cheaper & less pretentious experience then actually going there myself...
Glad you enjoyed it!
You mean than going there.
It must be very hard for the French to describe what they are serving in English. I am very impressed.
Well.. It's okay to expect a little bit of the French in a 3 star Michellin.
Not really…most nations are comfortably multi lingual. It’s just the US and UK seem to struggle in this department
This is real french restaurant
Yes. Michelin Guide doesn't give three "macarons" to just any restaurateur.
Urban VIII is it also worth going Japan or South Korea Three star michelin?
I mean ... thank you for the incredible work that you doing for show us this content ... I love it !!! The lemon granite with the tartare of Oyster is something else !!!
Also the zabaione with caviar look spectacularly good 😌
Thanks I really like Guy Savoy and he is very nice chef to show his kitchen to us
Amazing simply the best. ! The best cuisine in the world. Respect from Romania 🇷🇴
You are amazing. Thank you for sharing these experiences.
Thank you so much for the video at least we got a a feel of a Micheline star restaurant with so many dishes served and the chef's have really done a great job !
I live in Paris, never went...But you are selling it! Great channel discovery! Merci
Thanks! 😃
Thanks for giving me, Goosebumps. Excellent camera work.
Thank you for sharing, my senses were excited and my palate was tantalized with the epicurean fantasy of flavor…
Our pleasure!
Thank you for sharing. Wonderful service.
Of course, Guy Savoy is famous for the use of fresh truffles, in-season. The poulet de Bresse preparation is nice. The soup with the brioche was very impressive and most famous! As always, ***
This really looked enjoyable. A chef who is interested in the satisfaction of food as consumable and not merely as concept. That is to say, some filmed Michelin experiences look like "experiences" and nothing else.
Choc tart looked fab!!!😋😋😋
Wow. I saw Master Huy Savoy in the first screen. Nice
Yes is him
Amazing beautiful delicious food outstanding service and food went many years ago thank you so much for sharing the beautiful video @ Gourmet B Gourmet 👍👍😀😀🌹🌹❤️❤️
Glad you enjoyed it
I had dinner at Guy Savoy three times over the last 15 years. Each meal was perfect in every way. You will not find a more talented chef or better meal anywhere. I recommend it highly to anybody looking to celebrate a special occasion.
Yes totally agreed you. At least go one time for celebrate a special occasion. I really like that restaurant too, will go again in future.
@@GourmetBGourmet yes, I met Mr. Savoy on two of the three occasions I dined at his restaurant. Like most executive chefs, he often makes the rounds to meet the patrons. He is shy, yet affable. Some of his contemporaries are more chatty, like Alain Passard and Pierre Gagnaire.
@@alextabet9247 cool, yes he look shy and friendly, wow u been many Michelins, any good Michelin starred restaurant can recommend us?
Go back to the kitchen hot line and see how many cooks are handling your food with their faces inches from the food to get that ‘’perfect’ presentation. Yikes. As a food server I noticed many chefs sneezing over food.Yikes again.
@@sandykubiak9193 I guess one can choose to never eat at a restaurant.
Looking delicious. Great service as well. Thank you
Thanks
I dined at Guy Savoy in Las Vegas,Nevada USA. It is located on the 2nd floor of the beautiful Caesars Palace Resort. It inspired me to learn how to prepare, cook and plate fine dining cuisine at home. I designed my dining room to resemble Guy Savoy's Restaurant.
beautiful vid, very relaxing
I’ve worked in these types of kitchens for over 30 yrs and the best memories I have is when we would order McDonald’s after the service,..
These servers are amazing. They are so knowledgeable and hands on. Great to see.
thanks for sharing!
You did well to finish. What a feast!
this is amazing!! i love this channel just subscribed 🥰
Thanks we have many amazing Michelin on our playlist
Amazing ! It's truly an experience
Amazing desserts!
To be honest this is worth the money. Looks amazing and the waiters did a really good job!
Agreed. I enjoyed in there. Excellent restaurant. Thanks
No meal is worth that much !
You understand the true value
Some will forever object simply because they do not value art or biochemistry in it's rightful grandeur
Just a full stomach which is justifiable but isn't the intention of high level biochemistry
@@paulfoot9230 absolute bloody nonsense !!!! The foods incredible
@@markhoad5921 No, no meal is worth that much money.Taste is subjective.
I’ve been here! The best dinner I’ve ever have!
Wow one of the best episodes.
This looks so good. I want that artichoke soup.
It felt like i was eating it. Well filmed….but my my so expensive…a treat if a lifetime to eat such a swish meal….looked delicious
All looks delicious!
Not sure I can finish all these food in one setting. I'd probably have to skip breakfast, and lunch just to come here for dinner. Looks absolutely great. Thanks for posting.
whaa?? portions are extremely small.
The portions are deliberately tiny. They are designed so that you eat many dishes without feeling bloated (which would absolutely destroy the experience)
Wow ! You've done one better than Andy Hayler in the coverage of these creme de la creme places. Thank you for the great video coverage - such vicarious pleasure. One thing which is very discordant is that multiple plates have poor, messy presentation - lobster, chicken, turbot, and I've seen this in other 3 stars as well. Surely these top joints can tidy up the presentation a bit - Marcus Wareing of MasterChef UK would tell off a lot of this plating ! ( though granted he's not max-rated himself). That's not your fault , great job again.
Even though I cannot afford to eat but I think it is worth it. One day, one day hopefully I can eat good food like this.
Everything looks so heavy and rich!
The porcelain ware though….😳🙌🏼🥂
THANK YOU for sharing this beautiful experience !
For me, Monsieur Savoy is the benchmark in Michelin grade fine dining, I've watched almost every video there is about him, in Provence, Las Vegas, everywhere.
If there are two things on my bucket list, this experience is deffinitely the first !
(the second is making love to Mariana Davalos but that's another topic)
There were many dishes served and the caviar ones didn't disappoint, those sauces were looking absolutely fabulous.
I'm still raising the money for this experience, for both me and my wife, and I was also wondering how much extra would've cost the wine pairing.
Another issue is with the quantity, the portions were medium, not quite small and I am still wondering how you managed to succeed in eating almost every bite. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a severe foodie and I most certainly would've eaten everything but the plates and cutlery, but I'm trying my best not to figure out your size, judging by the hands you seem quite normal/average.
Just out of plain curiosity, how long did the whole event take ? About two hours I assume ?
Again, thank you for sharing this experience !
Thank you
Love these videos. Wish we could see the impressions and live review of yours when dining. But I know that goes against the etiquette of fine dining. Thank for you giving us an insight of what the pinnacle of food looks like. Wishing you good health to continue this journey!
is no manner to do the review during dining, yes is against the etiquette of fine dining, we will make a review videos in future, many thanks of the comments.
Ahhhh, one day...one day I'll have a meal there....
Really nice restaurant.
Okay now that's more like it. Truffles, caviar, lobster, etc. Way better than 5 course 500 dollar meal on the other video. I can get behind this one.. just gotta save a for a bit. XD Looks worth it from the fine dine perspective.~
Un classicisme confondant, dressages d'un autre âge. Ne mérite pas 3 étoiles. !!!
Amazing! Only thing I found weird to the overall experience is to choose something from the ice cream and dessert trolley to finish it off... So much to choose from after a relaxing and tasty experience, guided by the chef's suggestions, and now you finish his story yourself.
great video! i'm just sitting here laughing that I'm eating Pringles while watching this
First they taunt you with a 9kg fish and then they serve you 6 grams of said fish
I had the same thought as well and who knows if those 6 gms were actually from the fish they showed!
Incredible !
Thanks
Good plating presentation, above average menu
Glad you think so!
Wow, amazing
USD 652pp, €574pp, 478pp
I went there, excellent meal, but still with hungry. We'd finished at La Rotonde
they also service bread, they gave extra risotto rice make you full.
even the waiter’s french accent sounds exclusive !
The food looks amazing ~ It would be nice to hear your comments
Restaurant room like a art gallery, modern design, Good service and excellent foods, my favourite foods is lobster, soup and iced cream trolley. Mr Guy Savoy friendly, nice fine dining.
I never eaten at a guy Savoy restaurant this is the first video someone showed the food.
I really like Guy Savoy, so I took a video show how beautiful and delicious food of Guy Savoy.
mouthwatering!!
Thanks a lot 😊
watch this while eating a big Mac give me some class too
1:35 What is that
"Lémon and synite graniti"
Funniest thing I have seen today
Is lemon and seaweed granite, maybe is French English accent, but he already did good.
@@GourmetBGourmet I got it but I found the timing of the question and how he replied very hilarious 😂
that good, made u have a happy day!
I frequently dine at Michelin star restaurants, but there is a couple of things that needs more attention. Subscribed to your channel, thumbs up!
Thanks!
It will be much pleasant to the poor guys if they will be treated to such a meal and teach them how to eat the same. I believe that our local produce can compensate to the healthy aspect of such dishes and more. Thank you so much for showing us the details. I can very much relate on the effort exerted to complete the dishes shown on this video. God bless.
Damn if i went there, ide swallow the entire shotglass, drink the whole egg, put the entire dish on my spoon, and wonder where the rest of the food is lol
Fantastic video. I have watched many of your videos and they're all great. I wanted to ask your honest opinion of Guy Savoy. Do you think the restaurant is worthy of its No. 1 ranking and the high price? How does it compare to the other Michelin 3 star restaurants you have been to?
Update: So our family finally had a chance to dine at Guy Savoy on April 12th, 2022. It was the finest meal I have ever had. Every single savory course was astonishing. The asparagus tasted better than the finest A-5 wagyu. The John Dory tasted better than king crab. The truffle brioche smeared with truffle butter dipped in the artichoke soup with black truffle may be the most sublime food that has ever been in my mouth. The service was of course unimpeachable. We ate at 4 different Michelin 3-star restaurants in Paris on our trip: Pierre Gagnaire, Epicure, Guy Savoy, and Kei. Guy Savoy was by far the best experience as well as the best value. The only criticism I could make is that the rhubarb dessert was unremarkable. But overall, greatest restaurant I have been to in my life, though my 3-star journey is admittedly only at its beginning.
Guy Savoy is my recently one of favorite fine dining, the price is value of Le liste rank 1 to me, they used many expensive truffles for course, we-can’t judge because we haven’t try all the world 3 stars, we hope can travel all Michelin in the world. thanks
So happy you had the opportunity. Life can be amazing
C'est de la haute cuisine.
Come to Oustau De Baumaniere a 3 Michelin starred restaurant in the south of France !
Excelente restaurante, gracias a ver video. video.
So many desserts, I can't imagine how a table for two would look 😵
Full of sweet 😆
Wow incredible to see all the dishes. That is literally like a 17 course meal. How is it even possible to eat that much, I would hate to pay that much for a dinner and not be able to finish it, or to leave feeling uncomfortably full/bloated
They’re tiny portions I am sure that you’ll manage
food made with such a high degree of quality as this place would not leave you bloated.
Earle Grey tea for the win!
Every plate goes back to the kitchen clean, this is more important to the Chef then a Michelin Star.
So true!
Two questions, do they also have vegan choice.? What tip is acceptable? Your videos are excellent. Have subscribed
I can answer this:
1. No, if you want a strictly vegan menu, Guy Savoy is the wrong place.
2. It's France, there is no service charge and you are not expected to tip (even at their top establishments, service must be included in the price of menu items by law).
Truffle truffle truffle truffle... I hope you did the truffle shuffle dance afterwards to help you digest all those truffles 😂 is truffle really that good? I've never tasted it. I wouldn't have been surprised if they'd served you truffle sorbet for dessert!
yes i ate many white and black truffles, foie gras and colour and black caviar in Paris, after meal all of my mind is truffle truffle and truffle. I prefer Alba white truffle, have a special deep musky aroma smell, I really nice it, you should try it. yes I agreed you, restaurant need to have surprised truffle sorbet, that is very good idea.
There’s a reason why white truffle is more appreciated by customers: it cannot be cooked, contrary to black truffle which needs to be cooked to release its aroma. White truffle on the contrary loses its aroma very rapidly. Restaurants prefer using white truffle because it’s more visible since they have to grate it in front of them. That experience is why customers prefer white truffle because of the grating experience.
The word truffle is used so many times during this meal, it's as though it is a person stuttering!
@ Robert Smith Yes totally agreed you, Alba white truffles only has a short season in Sep to Jan.
@ Urban VIII truffles journey
Everything looks amazing 👌🏼 but I don’t get one thing, is that how many meals she eats in once??😯
Actually many dishes, let me calculate haha. Menu is 13 course, but have a special dish, second dessert not on menu.
@@GourmetBGourmet alright i see, thank you for uploading anyway, always want to eat watching such a great foods and presentations👌🏼😊

my dream destination
so ur dream d’estimation is Paris or Guy savoy?
@@GourmetBGourmet yes
guy savoy is my dream to eat in his restaurant
You know your in the wrong place when you sit down and find out that the water costs more than the juice.
I want a 30-course meal w/ puce lobster and blue truffles!!
that must be the most expensive cup of tea in the world
that is what you call professional service. par excellence.
Hey! Hey! Where'd you go with the rest of my whole Turbot, huh? Postage Stamp of Turbot indeed! :-)
She like keep it coming ....
Asking for more rice 😎
What a gorgeous plate ...........................What happens if I have no portion control...❤😘😘
can i just fill up on the truffle soup please? thanks
I am sorry I just find it hilarious and astonishing the tiny small portions of food
One customer and the dish washer has 34 dishes to wash
It's a lot of food overall you would feel very full after eating all of this unless you are a fatty
tasting menu is a collection of several dishes in small portions, served by a restaurant as a single meal for signature dishes
Ain’t got anything on bangers and mash with peas and gravy and a cold beer all for £10
Does the girl knows something in food ...? I'm wondering because she just says "ok thank you" 😅😂🤣
of course I know….l met Mr Guy Savoy in kitchen, I just worry you thinking I am too noisy, that why I haven’t put our conversation on the video.
After eating at this restaurant, I'd bet a lot of people stop at McDonalds on their way home to get something to eat
I was thinking exactly the same thing 😅
You would be surprised at how full you are by the time the deserts come.
You must be joking, if you were to put all the food from this whole menu onto one plate, it might be enough for two people.
One of the reasons you spend about 2.5-3.5 hours in top restaurants for tasting menus isn't just to give the chefs time to prepare everything, it's to give yourself time to digest. If all this food was served in a 30-minute window, you'd have to be massive to finish it all.
You should do a visit to L’AMBROISIE….
Yes we will, L’Ambroisie on our list
So.... At 50 seconds in...could you please explain exactly what where getting for £15.75
My Saab has a turbot😆
Seems okay. Better places imo
very good place.
Interesting, but one of your cameras makes all the food look a bit brown.
They had better called this; 'we add truffle to everything' restaurant.
lemonnn and seaweed grrrraniti
Is the tasting menu price per person or for the whole table? so if we are 2 people we pay €574?
€574 per head, Two person €1148
@Gourmet B Gourmet: Thank you for sharing this video. But unfortunately, I was unable to finish it due to the eating noises.
No offense but it was distracting. Please consider editing this video and covering up the eating noises.
Okay I will consider doing the less noisy remaster version thanks for your comment
Yum 😋
Pity I,m lactose intolerant 😕
Love the techniques and presentation skills of these great places, nice to see them in action 👍
🙌✌️🫶
May I ask? 🙏
Are you "deaf" ?
Just wondering (excuse me if I offend 🙏). My family is profoundly deaf. ✌️❤️
I am not deaf, but I respect deaf, because I checked camera light, so I haven’t hear clear what he said, that why I asked again
@Gourmet B Gourmet 🙏
Bigger spoons I say 😝✌️❤️
Enjoying the content 😋
I love the big ass plastic egg presentation 🤯 LoL
