  • Probably not the most popular Mustang produced, but this one is a true survivor. Low miles and an interior that looks just a few years old. Watch as we get this one cleaned up to be posted for sale.

OMG. That was my first car. 1978 Mustang II Mach I in orange. Watching this makes me remember every groove of the body while washing it when I was 16! Thanks.

My favorite car ever made. I love that people hate it, because the people that hate it are the people i dont care to talk to.
    Keeps the enemies away lol.
Love the history behind the mustang II 4 year reign.
Own and daily a 77 ghia and starts everytime.
Put ho 5.0 in it, fuel injected.
    Exhaust work.
    Purs and runs sooo nice.
Needs body work.. And a few blemishes in interior and itll be perfect.

A pretty nice Mustang II Targa Fastback. You got her about as good as it gets!!! About a year ago we bought a 1975 Mustang II Ghia Coupe from the original owner. We had it detailed by a local guy who does good work. It came out good enough that we were featured at the 'Ponies in the Smokies' show in March. It's the little white coupe seen in the videos from the show. Thx

My first car was the 77 hatchback white interior snd sparkle green exterior paint. Had the brushed aluminum plate over speedodmeter instead of the ugly faux woodgrain.

came out clean bro! quick question as far as protection goes, did you apply anything after 3D Speed? Can you even apply anything after 3D Speed? If im not mistaken it has montan wax right? Are you able to apply something like tec582 ceramic detail spray on top of 3D Speed? Do they work good together or do you use a different combo? I guess that was more than a quick question lol my bad

    • @JsAutoDetailing
      @JsAutoDetailing  Год назад +1

Thanks man!! Speed is a mixture of carnuba and montan. I'll usually give the vehicle a quick wipe down with 582 or Beadmaker at the end. Mainly just to make sure I wiped off all of the polishing residue from 3D Speed. Haven't had any issues.

Nice II. It could use a paint job for sure, but otherwise looks pretty solid for original paint. In retrospect, I would have done better by acquiring a II in that condition than starting with a faded roller.
I already painted my II. Its approaching roadworthiness. I’m working suspension at the moment, but I stopped to watch your video on detailing. I am curious how a pro would deal with the vinyl strip over the roof? I just soak it with Armor All.

      Thanks for watching.
As for the faded vinyl, on this one I just applied 303 protectant. For a longer lasting restore, you can use a product called Solution Finish.

Me too, I got about 20k into my 78 cobra restomod. it's really hard to come up with prices for these cars even though they are slightly making a comeback I just think I'm going to take a huge hit if I do decide to sell, I'll probably have about 30k in to mine by the time its finished. It's all good though, don't really plan on selling it, did it all out of love.

I never bought my mustang 2. it was given to me when I turned 15. Still wish I still had it. I'd turn it into a pro street like I always wanted. Sadly I know where a ghia is in mint condition but the guy will absolutely not sell it unless he was getting 15k or something and it's not that damn serious.
