    In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
    Male-pattern baldness
    Women tend to lose hair along the part.
    Female-pattern baldness
    Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
    Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
    Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
    Traction alopecia
    t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
    Frontal fibrosing alopecia
    Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
    Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
    Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
    Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
    Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
    Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
    Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
    When to see a doctor
    See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
    Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
    People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.

    If you style your hair back with gel, all you have to do is (immediately after styling it back with gel) put one hand on your hair to hold the style, and use your other hand to press the root portion down and over a little to cover the front of the hairline. This typically breaks up or covers whatever hint of an edge may be visible.

    It’s called baby hairs and women have been doing it with their wigs for years but it’s much easier said than done for men. I do not think gluing hair over your hairline looks natural and after a day or two it becomes a mess. Having short wispy hairs in the front is more doable but the main problem is real baby hairs are finer and thinner so when doing it with system hair you can quickly end up with short uncontrollable hairs that poke out in every direction and again don’t look natural. This is something I’ve wanted to perfect since I started wearing and it’s no easy task.

      Gave up years ago but every now thén I want to give wearing hair up a try...i noticed since I ripped my hair line in a few places i çan wear thé hair up in those areas and its more believeable. I Used to get pièces at a salon where the front was shaped like it had had been cut into little curve like edges..I dont know To describe it, other times the stylist moderately
      . damaged the hairline with a comb and cissors and tweezers. and it looked more natural with liquid ahesive as opposed to putting on most pièces that have a straight edge all around

Tape for the perimeter, then light glue in the front. I do exactly what she does. Lay down the front and blow dry. Cool, I'm on the right track. Been doing this for a few months after over 2 years.

This is causing me a lot of stress and annoyance. Can you suggest what to do in a case like this? I don't wish to opt for a full head system. • @Dion-rz3fz
    @Dion-rz3fz 2 месяца назад

    One can also tease just the front hair a bit. Pulling a little hair from the front edge straight out toward your mirror, then backcombing toward your head. Then sort of "lock" it down with the fine comb, so that the teased hair is next to the hairline, but the hair above is straighter to comb back. Certain textures would work better than others with this technique. This is the technique I use.

    • @Travis_Gixxer
      @Travis_Gixxer 3 года назад

      @@panix186 I remove and fully service it once weekly, with minor touch ups as needed...it generally holds up well though. I use three layers of ghostbond for the actual poly hairline but I put the last two on a fraction higher than the first one (where the front hairs will stick down). I don’t cut the front hairs like jakes example, I just comb the very front few hairs forward, press them into the glue til they’re good and stuck, give them a light spritz of hairspray then carefully comb them back into the rest of the hair 👌🏽 not cutting them makes it far simpler to consistently replicate.
      It makes a real difference....i slick it back with Suavecito pomade so the hairline is super visible....it’s the best, most natural looking method I’ve found 😊

      Why? Lots of Europeans have naturally mismatching beard/hair colours. Also, dying beard hair is not as easy as you may think. The dye in coarse beard hair will fade MUCH faster than in head hair.

    I'VE BEEN WEARING A SYSTEM FOR YEARS NOW. I USED A COMPANY CALLED FARRELL FOR YEARS - BUT SINCE COVID, THE QUALITY HAS GONE TOTALLY TO CRAP. THEY USED TO HAVE THE BEST UNDECTABLE HAIRLINES BUT NOW, THEYR'E AWFUL. IS THERE A COMPANY THAT HAS THE BEST LOOKING, NATURAL SYSTEMS? I'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE. I KNOW LAVIVID - I USED THEM BEFORE, THEIR HAIRLINES WEREN'T GOOD.
