I have learnt a lot from your channel. Thanks a lot. I hope to use what I have learnt here to make my relocation pursuits a reality. Warm greetings from Ughelli.
What RUclipsrs don’t say is that- it’s very hard to get the 5k and considering fact that the 20hrs additional cap is back from end of this September. Oh and you get tired from your normal shifts btw, unless you got ILR and you can fully rely on agencies
You are not getting the gist. I know someone that earns £6000 monthly just from agency shifts full time working 4 days a week that is why I said as soon as I don’t need sponsorship anymore I’m going full time agency cause that is where the money is. Pls watch the video to the end before you think it’s not possible to earn that much
One of the husbands in my husband video working as a care assistant full time with agency earns over £2000 every 2 weeks and that is just a care assistant job!!

Hy schola I would like to know Don't you think working over time with the agency will affect me when I want to apply for permanent residency. Meanwhile I work full time in an NHS hospital
Not really. you can work as much as you like between now to August. the 20 hrs work restriction on a second job will resume in August. when it does then you can cut back on your overtime hours
@@glory7886 hello!! I have recently been interviewed by Maryland healthcare care in Northern Ireland.. Any information about them.. Thank you in advance
Thanks for the video.Kindly send the links of hospitals or carehomes in Nothern ireland currently recruiting nurses, senior carer or health care assistance.I'm an RN
Thanks so much. I really appreciate your swift response. If I get you right, we can do both but not to exceed 20 hours per week. So, if I did not get agency shift in a particular week, I decide to pick up bank shift in my Trust. Is that right?
Hmm. The only disadvantage I can think of is that you wont have a fixed salary. So because you are going to be working only when shifts are available, if you join an agency that doesn't have a lot of shifts to offer then you will be the one looking for work
Honestly Scholastica...thank you for this info. I like smart work not hard work as it were. Pls which app do you use to edit your videos? Do you edit your videos on your phone or laptop pls?
I just recently started editing with final cut pro on a macbook laptop. Most of the videos on my channel were edited on my samsung phone using cyberlink power director
I talked about this in the video as well. You need 6 months experience. Some agency won’t mind though but most will ask for some experience. I also talked about how to get the 6 months experience too
The more agency shifts you take the more HRMC slashes your pay . if we are talking about more shifts you have 12 hours in care homes and you are on a weekly 20 hour cap so it is not really as feasible as it seems. I presently work with an agency and combined with my full time I don't make close to £4k because of HRMC alone. The more shifts you take the more your Tax band changes and the more your pay reduces
I don’t mean combining the agency shifts with your full time job. If you work full time agency shifts only you will be able to earn that much. That is what the video is about. Working less because with agency shifts you are not expected to do so many things you would have done as a permanent staff e.g writing care plans, evaluating files etc plus you can pick shifts whenever you want. I said all these after explaining how to work with an agency towards the end of the video. I know a nurse that was making £6000 monthly from working agency shifts only and also one of the husbands in my husband discussion video earns over £2000 in two weeks from working as a care assistant with agencies.
@@ScholasticaUgboka thank you for your response. My next question would be that is it possible to work only agency jobs? Isn't it applicable to those who have IRL? For those on COS I am made to understand that you have to work full time for the period of your contract then after 5 years thereabout you can then move to permanent agency jobs. Correct me if I am wrong please. I am just trying to understand properly

Thank you. 1. Yes it’s possible to have a full time job and work agencies with the remaining 20hrs. This is what I’m doing currently and this video already explains how to go about it 2. For career advancement, you can decide to become a nurse or a public health officer etc by going back to school to study for it. Some programs can be done online but i want to believe that even if you are moving about in this current job you will still be within the same city. If this is the case then you can also enrol in a program that allows you to attend classes physically once or twice a week. If you are working a permanent job as a care assistant, you can ask your manager about progressing to a higher role like a senior care assistant or CHAP. These sets of people give medications and do most of the work nurses do too expect giving injections, wound dressings etc

I used an agency called Professional connections
It's free. They don't charge you anything . However, you pay for NMC registration, CBT, TB test and £55 for the visa process
They prefer candidates who have passed their IELTS or OET already
You're really doing well. Thanks for this.
