I don't even watch MMA, but i saw silva in a meeting with chael and he was very rude, he doesn't know how to separate the fight from personal life, and he was making senseless offenses to chael and when they started to fight one of silva's assistants helped to beat chael, i found it very dishonorable. Rude guy, im glad chael's kick his ass. chael tried to put him down the whole time to get the upper hand, very good fight.
That's the fight game man, it does get chippy. And Wanderlei isnt hip to American culture, so what's considered Cardinal rules over here isnt really relevant in his native country.

I wouldn't say he kicked Silva's ass, he hugged Silva and shot after him because he knew he couldn't win a stand up fight against him. It only took one connected punch to knock down chael. He beat Silva by points, not by kicking his ass lol. Still though, Silva needs to work on his take down defense.

Exactly what I was thinking. This is the way it would have played out if they would have been allowed to continue without interference. Wanderlei would have gotten murdered in the ultimate fighter moment since chael wasn't wearing gloves and didn't get rocked. Without their separation, Wanderlei's face would have been carved up by relentless ground and pound.
