LOVE seeing the feather board ad at the end. Literally not talked about enough. I've used one for two years now and wouldn't rip boards without it.

Love these simple and easy instructions! I'm thinking of doing the ladder rack that you posted awhile back, but on a bigger scale. I'm inspired 😊

Love it and love your stuff Ronnie. You will get a like from me if you let us know what you sell these for and what profit you’ve made on them to date. I trust you but most “content creators” peddle ideas on here but don’t seem to actually sell anything they make personally. Appreciate if you could outline that for us in broad brush strokes. Thank you sir 🙏

All the furniture, coat racks, Christmas trees, etc you've seen me build on my videos I have actually sold. So, I'm not "peddling" anything. These videos are free. The last two videos on big profit, I've sold the ladder before. This video, the serving tray, I have not sold (yet). But, if you go on Etsy, Wayfair, et. you will see what they go for. Considering the small cost to build (this one about 80" of 2x4) they are an easy profit. So, for factual reference, no, this tray has not technically sold, but they do sell, you can search and see. Thanks for watching.

It can be a display tray with candles, plants, photos, etc. I can be a snack tray. Pretty much whatever you want to use it for.

They are included in my tea towel ladder plans on Etsy. If you watch that video I did a few back you can see it and pretty much see how it is put together

It's a cool idea but there's $3 worth of wood, not materials total. Glue, screws, brad nails, sand paper, finish, electricity to run your tools, gas to get the all the items, etc. all add to the cost of the project. Also, labor isn't profit and should be included in the cost.

Hi Nathan. It actually is around $3 in material. The wood, at the current price, is under that here. The other things you mentioned are overhead... electricity, gas, etc. As far as labor goes, the idea would be to batch these out. I've seen similar on Etsy for around $80. I've paid for a tool called Everbee that shows the stats on sales of items. So, I'm confident in how I figured this out. I put it at around $45 for average. Some are less. If one is just focused on this particular piece, well, with the hours filming, editing, etc, I've lost money. Just trying to make people aware of the possibilities their scrap wood holds. Thanks for stopping by.

@RonniesWorkshop yep, I assume if these sell that one can make jigs to make parts easier and quicker to turn out. The end result looks nice.

Assuming you as a woodworker already have these simple tools, $3 is reasonable 🤦

It's a little too chunky for my taste. I'd rip the main 2x4's down to ⅝" and add a lip around the outside.
