    Thanks for featuring our campaign for Rise of the Wastelands! Some extra eyes on our game means a lot to us. It is so great to hear that you like our wooden screen printed miniatures, we also love them 😁
    We really appreciate the feedback about the cover. If I understand you correctly you feel it does not really fit the vibe with the game once you have it on the table.

    Loved Moonrakers. Can't wait for Brink.

      It'll be interesting to see how the translate the setting to a worker placement game.

    Appreciate the content guys, keep it up. And of those 4 games, three of them were on my radar but Wastelands with the screen printed meeples is the one im backing.
    Also for what its worth, i like the box artwork. Theres alot to take in in the fine details of that artwork.

    Mythic Mischief is their best game. It's an abstract with asymmetric powers that take it to the next level. Best by a landslide

      Agree to disagree. MM is well produced (as always) and fun, but Moonrakers is my favorite.

    Rise of the Wastelands looks interesting and you did mention the box cover art could use some work. However, my argument is with the color palette used for the game. The wooden pieces and minis are nice but pastel colors in a post apocalyptic theme just doesnt make sense.

      Fair comment, but I do think they look striking. And I suppose it depends on the style of the overall presentation. Like Borderlands is post apocalyptic, but it's bold colors work.

      @@meeple I see your point about Borderlands and that may very well may be the direction they intended. The color choice will not "cover up" game mechanics so if it's a good game it will still be good and if it flops then color won't matter. I'm just from the camp that if I'm playing a post apocalyptic game, I want to be immersed in a dark and gritty landscape trying to survive.

      @@gottimighty The designer of Rise of the Wasteland speaking. I understand your concern about colours, even ourselves initially thought of darker and grittier colours for the minis. But then we realized that they would blend in it too much with the map, so it was hard to distinguish them from the background. That is why we decided to take a colour approach where we prioritized playability over "realism". But as I said, we understand that not everybody is going to like the colours we chose, but we are happy with the final result. I hope that you can see beyond the colour 'problem' and give it a chance 😉.

    I’m curious about Hexplore It, but I feel like I’m way too late to the party. So it’s a pass for me.
    IV Games has some impressive production in their games, but I’m never interested in the gameplay.
    Kemet is sitting on my shelf of shame. I hope to get it to the table before the end of this new campaign!

      @@meeple I’m always trying to find reasons not to back a project because I have too many games in the queue :)
      Maybe I’ll back Hexplore It some day…. But that day is not today!

    Very click bait thumbnail and title.

      How so?

    • @jhowd78
      @jhowd78 8 дней назад

      That doesn't make sense. It's crowdfunding content

    • @Zifferony
      @Zifferony 8 дней назад

      The “crowd control” and even more so the “alert” in capital letters and an exclamation mark without any more information as to what the in the video you are alerting the viewers to. The intention is clearly to bait people to click the video without knowing what to expect. The very definition of click baiting.
      With scandals popping up now and again where crowdfunding campaigns end up being scams and ALERT! Will surely make a lot of people expect there to be something scandalous that we ought to be alerted to. Instead it’s just a… well I… calling it a review video would be wrong. I’d call it promotion.
      A better text for the thumbnail would be to say upcoming crowdfund campaigns. But I doubt you’d get as many clicks if you were that up front. 🤔

    • @Zifferony
      @Zifferony 8 дней назад

      The word ALERT! In all capital letters and with the exclamation mark at the end is clearly meant to get peoples attention and to have them click the video thinking it’s another breaking story about a campaign scam or something similar.
      A more fitting thumbnail text would be something like ‘Upcoming crowdfunding campaigns’. But then you probably wouldn’t get nearly as many clicks. So this is a clear case of click baiting.
