Well i have News
I tried the randomizer shortly after seeing the originals of these videos. Some high anxiety seeing Proggs spawn in the Impact Site, but it was blocked off by the walls. And then seeing 2 Proggs in the Distant Spring at the same time. And then 3 Proggs on a return trip to the Forest of Hope. Way too many Proggs.

Progg is more like a deformed larvae and given how it interacts with pikmin its deformity makes it really hard to live so we just mercy killed it

The best part is that in theory, since Proggs are malformed baby Mamutas, that makes more sense than it being a Progg.
And yet it's still more baffling.

I always had the mental theory that pikmin would mature underground but heavy rain or another pikmin would release them eventually. In pikmin 1 and 2 we see pikmin instinctively pull small weeds. Maybe that's a instinct for them to pull their fellow pikmin. but if you forget a few seeds and they get left in the soil over winter they become onions next year.
In the totally canon Pikmin Adventure minigame for Nintendoland on the Wii U the Pikmins can actually pull other Pikmins.

You gotta have your blue Pikmin be idle in the water, then they act as lifeguards for your yellows. Makes getting that corner piece in the distant spring much less lethal. But blues won't be on life duty if they're following your orders.
Puff-stool and Beady long legs combo is legit terrifying.
Laser propulsion! Heck yeah! That’s a real thing, too, and might actually work with the small size of the ship. Although you would need to leave the laser gun on the ground and have it target the ship. And need a ship that could withstand the temperature

glad to finally get to see the condensed version of this. normally i'm all about the VODs, and i love the randomizer despite its creator, but with minty meeo's whole "LGBTs should keep themselves out of my sight" shtick he was pulling on me (who is lgbt) a few years back during pride month when i was active in pikmin discords, its hard to stomach watching the whole thing. eager to tuck into watching this now

Fun fact: In the GCN version of pikmin, you can actually kill the beady long legs by hitting it a few times with your yellows. If done carefully it will follow you out of its arena and across the map. Go onto the bridge below where the Libra is up high and the BLL will trip and fall into the chasm below. Only problem is this also crashes the game. So, you gotta kinda watch out for that. Fun glitch though.
It would be cool if the ship parts were randomized in the vanilla game, it would mix things up between playthroughs.

It feels weird to hear of AttackingTucans and Verses these days. I remember learning of both closer to a decade ago, but outside of Iron Mouse reacting to "Heart Shaped Box" I feel like I never hear others reference anyone from the Runaway Guys.

Fun Fact about Pikmin 1, You do NOT need certain parts to win the game, the game SOLELY checks how *many* parts you have, i believe if you do not have at least around 19/21 parts, your ship WILL crashland

I think a fun idea for a challenge/video would be for every dollar donated, you have to kill one of your Pikmin, but you could wait until the end of the day, or start of next day to add it all up. And maybe the money donated could go to charity. Pikmin charity challenge video type of thing

Ah, i remember AttackingTucans... He had those skits at the beginning of his Pikmin videos that were really funny! I watched those back when RUclips channels were vertical and more customizable! Remember THAT? Wow... Pretty sure he also named all of his Pikmin, which was pretty cool!
Funny how I have Pikmin, Pikmin 2, and Pikmin 3 on Wii U and switch, plus used to have a Wii.
