Im so glad this game is being worked on in dreams. Played it ever since the beginnings with sonic, shadow and some others including mighty. Cant wait to see the development of this game.
This looks really solid, I love when engines give Sonic a double jump, ever since I played Lost World on 3DS I just think it feels nice, love me some more mobility! With mobility in mind tho anytime I see Super Sonic I just imagine him having more vertical mobility(besides higher jumps), like if by default Sonic has a double jump, I would give Super Sonic triple jumps(and the option to like hold jump for a floaty descend). And depending on the game I always wanted to see a Sonic game/engine straight up make Super Sonic fly(for a limited time), like maybe after a homing attack if you press jump again or during a homing attack if you hold jump Sonic enters a flying state that lasts like 2-5 seconds and you can ascend and descend with jump and action button respectively(and then after the flight you can homing attack again, but cannot perform a fly again until you land)
I suggest that the Hyper Sonic fade to a soft white before the next color fades in. It would make it a lot easier on the eyes. Each color needs to be present, too, and I did not see green. Going from one color right to the next can create an optical illusion that some colors are missing, and having a white faze between each makes them more visible.
Trust me I thought of this too, but in Dreams you want to do stuff as efficiently as possible unfortunately it would cost too much data to do it this way.. dreams has weird limitations like that 🫤

I love everything about this. The physics, the model, the animation style, the cool ass echo in hyper Sonic's voice. Everything but the quick step looks amazing to me
@@newlevelgaming7129at 1:00 it seems like it struggles to keep fluid motion heading forward when traveling at faster speeds. Almost as if the game is stopping sonic so it can move him either left or right
@@bonez41008 oh ok I see… the sections to test the quickstep in the test area are very tight.. something you’d expect in the very last level of game.. it’s the timing of Sonic overtime’s button inputs.. what’s causing Sonic to lose speed is actually him falling off the platform…
It looks like the game was in a game engine that is similar to SFM Knowing that SFM is NOT a game engine But the graphics of this game reminding me of sfm

Change the Spin Attack to SA1 style graphics, physics and sound effect, get rid of foot tapping on running, it's annoying, NO BOOST!

I adore the way his head turns to look at stuff and how the tricks look when you do them!
