  • It's the big question that has been argued over for centuries (Or maybe just the last few years...). Today I plan on answering it.

    Got my speedybee f405v3 and mark 4 frame. Yesterday I connected gps module successfully after playing with the configuration I was so happy that it finally worked and synced with satellites successfully! The feel in you never get with pre built:D still waiting for the delivery of motors :)

    just built a cinelog 35 v2. My favorite cinewhoop yet. It was cheaper than buying it as a prebuilt.

    I literally love the way you explained in very layman. I was confused a lot whether to go with dji avata2 or custom build as i am into traditional drone amd newbie on fpv. But you really clarifed my confusion and i think i should go ahead with prebuilt fpv. Will watch more of your videos n subscribed already. Just one question which one shall i go ahead with cineloop or freestyle ? Love from Bharat 🇮🇳🙏❤️

    building your own quad is more £££ because the companies that supply BNF quads can buy the parts in bulk which makes a big difference from the retail price that's been my experience anyway!

  • @evanmorgan5641

    Def go bnf if ur trynna fly. Building can be so overwhelming just starting out. Learning how to solder, buying correct hardware, betaflight, binding and setting up receivers n transmitters/ goggles. N all of that will not go as smoothly as expected I promise. Plus it’s honestly not that much more expensive to just buy bnf. You don’t build ur car when ur first learning to drive. But building to start out definitely has its perks especially if this is a long term hobby.

      I bought a GEPRC bnf and it was a totally misconfigured piece of crap. I realized right away that I was going to have to learn to build them. First time I had an actual flight was my own 3D print build. I wasn’t expecting to end up with a working drone but it was very rewarding.

      Depends for what purpose? I've got one that is amazing for racing but terrible for filming, one that would film amazing but race around terribly, one that is great for beginners etc etc

  • @totyrain
    @totyrain 8 месяцев назад

    All the hero storys of "build your first" are the ones that didn´t frustrate and get into the hobby. But you can´t know how many just gibe up. It´s not an easy thing to do. You need practice just to solder without burn the pads. I alway will recomend a BNF for a first kwad. And then, in the road, you´ll want to build and learn the nessesary.

    • @Dirkbob1
      @Dirkbob1 8 месяцев назад +1

      I started with building my own and I think that I learned so much more than I would have if I would have just bought it. I would recommend that everyone start with building their own drone if they have the drive to learn and actually want to know more about this hobby.

    • @totyrain
      @totyrain 8 месяцев назад

      exactley my point. You can handle it. Are you sure that everyone can? What would happens if you burn something before fly the kwad? Most of us didn´t got just 1. You may build the second, too.@@Dirkbob1
