Having lived in Italy as a foreigner for 8 years the last joke was funny but very far from my experience. 😂 I was a student and had to renew my residence permit every year bringing all my papers. The second time they issued a permit for work, not for studying. When I pointed it out to the officers they "played" surprised and said "do you really mind, what the permit is for?" I said I didn't want to do anything illegal. They said "Look, we saw from your papers you're really studying, you're doing good with your exams. Now the working permit is valid 5 years, which means you can finish university without coming here every year. Of course we can take it back and see you here next year and lose time over issuing a stupid paper which you'll obviously get for sure. Don't you want to save your and our time?" I kept the working permit. 😁
I don't get it: Codice fiscale for ever, but residency and health card renewals every year; and even Italians have to renew their stuff too - ID card - everything!

Another great sketch, congratulations from an italian. One thing I didn't "like" was the 50 euros in the end, well, corruption is everywhere, not only in Italy, maybe, a different ending, as south part italian, could have been something like: "well... we are the sons of Mark, son of Maria and Joseph, nephew of John, who worked as shoemaker in St. Matthew street..." and the interviewer: "Oh really? the brother of my granddad, Luca, went there for buying tomatoes!" Boom! Ok, not so funny... You guys are amazing. I loved the mom jokes! So accurate. I bet those moms would not even laugh hearing you though, as their (veeery deep) attachment to their sons is something completely normal to them. The driving joke was on point: especially in some places in the south, there is a lot of anarchy in the streets (as my Neapolitan dad would say). I also died when you mentioned the Vatican. Thank you for that. Personally, I could not relate much to the last one on bribes. Never heard of normal citizens or even a family member getting over state bureaucracy with bribes, and even if it surely might happen somewhere, it is far from being a systemic issue worthy of a cliche joke. Whenever we where dealing with bureaucratic problems, the solutions would come either by a long exchange of letters or the involvement of lawyers. And of course connections that would help sort things out are a big thing. I'm from Rome but I'm sure others can relate to my point. But surely there is the mafia issue and high end politicians are really corrupted, so I can see how you got that impression.

Italian driving on both sides of the road... even worst than that. Took a cab from Leonardo da Vinci airport. I was seating in the front, my sons at the back. The cab driver swerves the steering wheel, the car went throught the grass in the middle of the highway until we got to the other half of the highway and he just inserted himself between all other speeding cars going in the right direction. Did not even have time to scream. Just told my sons: well, we are still alive. I am not making it up. It is TRUE!
No lol. Every highway in Italy has two separated roadways, one for every direction of travel. It is impossible to cut from one to the other due to the presence of barriers in the middle. Fake story

When I was in Italy I had two interesting road experiences: 1) Driving on a two-lane road with double dividing strip and getting taken over through the oncoming lane. Thankfully it was empty, but it proved that road laws are road recommendations; 2) We were going 120 on a 110 high speed lane, a Carabinery vehicle going 140 without any sort of blues and twos caught up with us, who proceeded to blink me off the left lane and whooshed past. They were not chasing someone or fining me for speeding, they were speeding. Because the road laws are road recommendations.

Best of luck with the recovery and congratulations on the exams

Another great sketch, congratulations from an italian.
One thing I didn't "like" was the 50 euros in the end, well, corruption is everywhere, not only in Italy, maybe, a different ending, as south part italian, could have been something like: "well... we are the sons of Mark, son of Maria and Joseph, nephew of John, who worked as shoemaker in St. Matthew street..." and the interviewer: "Oh really? the brother of my granddad, Luca, went there for buying tomatoes!" Boom! Ok, not so funny...
Introducing our family relationship and what they do is a form to find connection/bond with who is in front of us, but I'm sure we have same behaviour in countries where family relationships are stronger and more important, this is why we never let our parents home... oops... ^__^
Great work as usual, especially the italian accent! ;)
These 2 lads are enjoying exploring some awesome countries, and we are enjoying Arms exploring some equally awesome accents! 😄
Didn't have much time with this one, so much I wanted to do!

Yep, another italian here and I'm definitely agreeing on your documentaries about immigrations forms, as you basically skipped the humour to report the facts. Great job as usual lads!
That opera style "Doomdah" at the end 😂 P. S. As an Italian (and Sicilian) this was spot on. Thanks for the laughs lads 🇮🇹🇮🇪
I was in Rome when Italy played in the World Cup Final. It was insane. Cars driving around everywhere with flags sticking out both sides. Full size flags on poles, not the little hand sized ones! I swear every cafe and hotel had an operatic tenor singing their lungs out.
I am so happy they have said Sicilian is a language ❤️
you guys always bring a smile on my face even on the darkest days with your seemingly effortless humour and subtle way of joking about stereotypes without being offensive. i'd be thrilled to see you in italy if you ever come here to perform!
ROTFL! I'm Italian and I'm deeply offended by the last joke (truth hurts), no seriously, don't try that in real life or you will end up knowing the inside of an Italian jail.
You skipped an important (and real) trait, never mess with our recipes. You can joke with religion, politicians, morality, but if you add cream in the Carbonara or pinapple on the pizza you seriously risk your own life.
I love the meltdowns Gino D'Acampo has on British TV on these subjects. One may assume he was actually sent there by the Italian government to do the good work :D.
Hai ragione.

Hi guys, I'm very delighted to have discovered your channel. I've been binge watching the immigration series. Excellent!! Thank you for adding laughter to my day. :)
Genius! Haven't laughed that much in a week. I wonder how long it takes to write those immigration sketches, they fly past when you watch them because they're so funny, but I suppose it takes some blood and sweat to put them together.
Thanks Kleines, glad you enjoyed it!
I love how matter of fact Arms is about changing his accent!
I'm so jealous! I can't speak in different accents and I'm in awe of anyone who can!
Happy Thursday everyone!
I guess he wasn't lying when he said he was perfect last week.
If you want to speak with an accent, try to focus on a different part of your mouth while speaking. I've found my German accent by focussing on my front theeth and the tip of my tongue. My French accent is somewhere close to my molars. It sounds weird saying it like that, but it works! (at least if you know what the accent is supposed to sound like :P)

A joke about the middle-aged sons and their mothers is the funniest and the saddest at the same time
And daughters
Why saddest. Living with parents is great things. Western society is ruined
@@SauravStatingFacts dude italians dont live with parents because they like it...they do it because life is unsustainable alone. We are forced to do it, unlike probably your culture where you can actually choose to stay with or without. Btw living with large family is not really good. How do Italians start their day? With an Espresso and an argument 😂
Is the argument about the espresso? 🤔
It can be about the espresso yep, there are at least two contrasting ways to drink coffee that depend on your region of origin sooo XD

Good night! Thanks for staying awake!!
Italian driving on both sides of the road... even worst than that. Took a cab from Leonardo da Vinci airport. I was seating in the front, my sons at the back. The cab driver got on the highway through the EXIT. I saw the cars coming toward us from all the lanes at full speed. The cab driver swerves the steering wheel, the car went throught the grass in the middle of the highway until we got to the other half of the highway and he just inserted himself between all other speeding cars going in the right direction. Did not even have time to scream. Just told my sons: well, we are still alive. I am not making it up. It is TRUE!
I won't doubt this after seeing Netflix's Love and Gelato a few weeks back 😅
No lol. Every highway in Italy has two separated roadways, one for every direction of travel. It is impossible to cut from one to the other due to the presence of barriers in the middle.

Great to hear they have the same standing as Tommy Tiernan. Be brilliant to see them coming up with more original stuff at the same age. Life is endlessly inspiring.
When I was in Italy I had two interesting road experiences:
1) Driving on a two-lane road with double dividing strip and getting taken over through the oncoming lane. Thankfully it was empty, but it proved that road laws are road recommendations;
2) We were going 120 on a 110 high speed lane, a Carabinery vehicle going 140 without any sort of blues and twos caught up with us, who proceeded to blink me off the left lane and whooshed past. They were not chasing someone or fining me for speeding, they were speeding. Because the road laws are road recommendations.
I still remember Arms as the Italian taxi driver 😅 Brilliant work with the accents, your voice actually changes like a totally different person.
