Awesome collection!!! So many great skaters in the "Golden Era" of skateboarding but Cab was by far the skater I tried to emulate. I even sported the 80s punk flat top with the halfway bleach!!! Cab is still killing it at his age and is so respected in the skate community!!!! The Powell Peralta Cab deck with the dragon and bats graffix is possibly the most iconic skateboard ever made(as far as art graffix)!! His man cave is sick but it was taken up so many more levels by havin the 720 arcade game !!!!

I, myself, never skated. That being said, I did however, sit through many, many a skate session; I was a skate "Betty"I guess -- or so they said:). My boyfriend at the time did skate ( very well, I might add) & I ended up, regardless of wanting to or not, through hours of sitting on curbs, steps, and often times- my car, doing my homework, usually. After yrs of this, I got BORED. I'd go do other things; college for a second, working a lot, just doing my own thing, although I was still, happily,, with the same guy. He'd always been a great skater, so he finally got sponsored, The ONE thing he'd always wanted, he wanted this to be a career. He was picked up by Vision, now bear in mind, I was in high school in the mid 90"s, graduated in 95'... So anyway, he got sponsored by Vision & they hadn't, yet, become kind of this novelty- retro- cool brand as they seem to be now. I don't even have to say how, extremely, popular they were in the 80's, but that started to slack off in the 90's - early 2000's.A Anyway, he had his own deck, a European tour ( he was kinda popular on Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, etc) & also a truck sponsor -- eve n Sobe beverages. Also, a full page ad in TRANSWORLD. Like a dream had come true for him, it was so nice seeing him so happy...
But, while doing a trick down a 12 step handrail, he fell and landed right on his knee. Funny how one little moment can change EVERYTHING, buy it did. His knee was so fucked up, he ended up losing his sponsors. Crazy situation and sad, too. Sorry, don't really know why I told that story, but I guess maybe because Steve Caballero was always one of his idols, a legend. Terrific video, thanks🖤!!

Consistently Pray for forgiveness, guidance in a good (positive) direction, and for help against evil. Pray to be saved from hell (whatever that may be). Pray for your friends and your family too, it only takes a minute or so/less at a time to pray. Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been. Don't wait until its too late and you have to suffer the consequences of built up bad karma from immoral acts/unrepented sins. Maybe together we can help make the world a better place by changing ourselves for the better, and changing things around us for the better.
And addressing/thanking the CREATOR, LORD GOD at the beginning and end of your prayers would be a good idea 😊
Or just be my friend if you don't want to say the prayer 😄
I'm trying to help you get right with the LORD🙏
    Amen.
You should prostrate yourself if you don't want to do spoken prayer, or do both ☺ Please worship the LORD GOD and not any idol. 🙏🙏

We thought we were sooo cooool to be able to say we knew Steve Caballero. hahaha. And I know you're going to think I'm full of shit but my dad worked for Atari and did all the artwork for the game cabinet and marquee of 720. My dad even showed me the half-pipe they built at one of the Atari offices. And I guess they had a bunch of the Bones Brigade guys (and possibly others) just come there and skate it so the game developers could do some R&D.

I remember wheels where you could see the little bb's. Once one fell out that was it. We tried to fix it but never could. Kryptonic precision bearings changed everything. Do you have a Logan Earth Ski with Bennett trucks? How about those real wide polyurethane red wheels? I miss 70's skateboards. The plastic yellow nash. Haha good days

It makes me think when looking at the boards and how in the 60s early 70s skateboarding was heavily inspired by Surfing, hence sidewalk surfers, did anyone use 🌊 Board Wax?
