Ego is a character that could have easily been a been threat for the MCU as a whole. Like Avengers level threat. Not that I didn't enjoy him in GotG Vol.2, but I believe he could have been a whole lot more. In the Thor run, when he was fused with the Necrosword, that was extremely dope. His power levels there were something else for what he was able to do.

It would give you a chance to flesh out some of the more obscure characters nobody's heard of, give your view on why the series didn't make it, and maybe give some background as to what motivated the company to do it in the first place. Big, powerful characters are always interesting, but so are big mistakes. And I think with the New Warriors on the horizon, now is a good time to start exploring some of the mistakes :)

For me it is a lot more about what you do with a character than the makeup of that character. What I mean is the idea of ego is more complex and arguably more creative than the idea of spiderman or batman, but the stories you can tell with that idea. The idea is creating a story on an existential level that will draw people into it with these powerful beings. So more stories with Cosmic beings would be cool. Like a mini series where the Celestial's debate life and death.
