    For those having to replace the orange round piece in the rotary piece, just replace it with a rubber washer equivalent in size, but you may have to enlarge the hole in the washer a bit. I did with mine just now and it works like new.

    • @GadgetBoy

      That was an option I was considering.

    You didn't show it shooting pizza...

    • @GadgetBoy
      @GadgetBoy  5 лет назад +1

      It can't. The rubber wheel that shoots the pizza isn't rubbery anymore.

      @@GadgetBoy how do you replace the rubber wheel? That's my problem with mine as well; super glue applied around it didn't work. Can a new rubber washer be applied?

      @@kimberlyroll7238 This project is on hold at the moment, but I have some ideas. I'm considering painting the old wheel with that liquid rubber stuff you can get at the hardware store (it's used for tool handles and such). I just don't have the disposable income to pay 30$ for something I'll only use maybe once or twice.

    The guy asked you to fix it, you cut through a sticker and write all over it 😖

    • @GadgetBoy
      @GadgetBoy  5 лет назад +1

      I didn't have a choice on the sticker, and it's kind of a tradition to write your name on the inside of something you repair.

      @@GadgetBoy I've repaired HUNDREDS of vintage toys, electronic toys and computers & I have NEVER written my name on them! Your friend wanted to sell that and you lowered he value so much! Believe it or not, online buyers WILL open these old toys up and see if anyone has been in them and messed with them. If your friend gets one of those buyers they WILL be demanding a refund.

    Cool video! Would you mind telling what power supply you were using to test it? I’m about to try to repair my old one I just found.

    • @GadgetBoy
      @GadgetBoy  5 лет назад +1

      I should probably do a video on the thing. it's something I picked up at rp Electronics, it's a variable power supply built into a large protoboard.

    Have you ever had any experience in replacing the rubber piece that goes on the rotary piece that makes contact with the pizza??

      I just replaced the orange round piece on the rotary piece. I replaced it with a rubber washer equivalent in size. I just had to enlarge the hole on the washer to be able to fit. Now this thing shoots at least 6 to 8 feet away again.
