@Narayan Bhagwan you should get it checked and x-ray again. I've read so many stories where people got the stones removed successfully and emptied their salivary gland and ducts. Now some time later they later they mention felling like you, like if there is something still in there. So they go back to the Doctor and check it and end up finding out that there's more in there. The Doctor informed them not to worry because this is normal for salivary glands that were blocked up. Some way up the duct. So when the first ones were removed the others had a way to move up the duct toward the surface after the swelling went down

It's devastating when the facial nerve has to be removed due to the parotid gland being malignant and impacts the facial nerve, requiring complete removal of both nerve and gland. The patient was left with the appearances of having Bell's Palsy. It's legacy made eating difficult and drinking required a straw. For an elderly female patient, the consequence was to withdraw from society, always extremely self-conscious in public which interfered with both eating and drinking when outside her room. A big problem is not only carer staff but also advanced nursing staff working in a Stroke Unit, didn't recognise the difference and don't know the difference between a Stroke and Bell's Palsy. With Strokes staff encourage using the side of the body affected. It's pointless pushing a Bell's Palsy sufferer to exercise the facial muscles, even more so when not having a facial nerve. I suggest all staff should read a patient's medical history before making assumptions. Shaming a self conscious, elderly patient unfortunately can and did have long term issues with self esteem. I don't think nursing staff realise the psychological damage that can result from careless or unthinking staff actions.

Hi!! How are you doing now? Still having any problem?
i have surgery in a couple days and my nervousness brought me to these videos.
How did it go?
@@gabiperez111 it went good, i have slight nerve damage and an unnoticeable scar but I'm overall relieved and not worried about it anymore. I only had to stay one night in the hospital because of a tube that was inserted for drainage, the tumor was benign. Its been over a year and my ear and jaw line still tingle a little
@@lynnallen-yazzie7337 I’m glad that you’re doing better 🫶 I hope you heal fully within time. I have my CT scan this Friday and I’m nervous for the surgery and post-op. Mine is thankfully benign as well but it hurt a lot when they did the biopsy (after the medication wore off) so I’m scared for the pain, post surgery and the facial paralysis.

Cheers for the video content! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Parlandealey Escaping Gallstone Process (erm, check it on google should be there)? Hi sir.. Would like to know if you offer fellowship courses?
I underwent this surgery but now I feel like there is something so I consulted the same doctors they told me that it is illusion so I also did sonography and there is nothing but when I touched there I felt like something that its recurrence so what I can do plz tell me is there anything serious
So when the first ones were removed the others had a way to move up the duct toward the surface after the swelling went down
how many cost this surgery
why sir surgery after up side head pain?

Lovely Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you researched - Parlandealey Escaping Gallstone Process (should be on google have a look)? Two months ago I had a parotidectomy and I have swelling and pain on my neck and cheek and the pain goes to my armpit and back to my shoulder. After the operation, the doctor only gave me painkillers and Flagyl. Now I am not taking any medicine. What can I do to reduce inflammation and pain? Isn't this a matter of danger?
Today dr told me after all my Reports done and he decides do to surgery on Left parotidectomy left neck flop Possible for graft. 😭😭😭 I already have bad experience with my temple that my skin dr did surgery. Now this is something new for me. Please anyone did Left parotidectomy surgery. How was it
Thanks 🙏🏻
Hope you got on fine with the surgery if you've already had it. I had this back end of 2019. Left side of my face. The tumour (pleomorphic Adenoma) was the size of a pea under my left ear. Had the Parotidectamy. Had some facial paralysis for about 2-3 months which Doctor had told me to expect. That completely resolved itself. Numbness in the ear lasted a bit longer. I still have a little bit of numbness in the ear lobe but nothing to bother about. Good luck.
Surgery cost?

Can this minimally invasive surgery be done with malignant tumors or a complete parotidectomy?
We would need to evaluate you in person, but yes we use this minimally invasive technique as much as possible.
Sir im indian where yours hospetal place name please reply me

I am having a cyst besides left saliva gland. Doctors suggested for removal and told chances of facial nerve damage. Any good surgeons in South India/India to consult please..
Hello there, I recently had undergone superficial parotidectomy in South india.. It's better to consult a minimally invasive Oncosurgeon for better tumor removal with minimal nerve damage..

I m having this problem. Recently I did my MRI . Tomorrow will be ultrasound biopsy then the further process will start
Do you also have internal hemangioma?
@@gulistatabassum3114
Nops .... Alhamdulillah, they did ultrasound only that day and said there is no need for biopsy as there is no any tissue inside that cyst.
They said it's just infection and consult with your doctor. He will suggest further.
Maybe today. I go for further process.
I m much better now.....
I didn't get biopsy.... Dr. Suggested some medication. I took them. I m much better now. Only a size of pea is left....
Where are you from?
@Akshay 18
I had not that problem just an infection. But the swelling decreased. There is a size of pea cyst there. Doctor said wait and see

Very good video 😇
Is it safety to take parotis surgery on 54years old lady? This surgery is reguler surgery or a complicated surgery.. I'm afraid.
This is a safe surgery when done by ab expert parotid surgeon. 54 is a young age. I’m 53 so I would have to say that. But 54 is a young age for surgery, anesthesia and recovery.
Are you the surgeon

What if a biopsy of the removed tumor shows traces of cancer? Should radiation be considered? What would be the side effects of the radiation? What is the best type of radiation to be used? Is gamma knife something that would not do damage to surrounding bone, flesh and teeth? Thank you so very much.

Hii
