Excellent race! Great to see a 2v 900 at Assen in the lead. I installed a lightened and balance crank in mine over the winter to avoid a broken case...or worse. Better luck next time!
Copied from description: Trained 2nd on the grid, but the pole sitter was to late so we all moved up. After 3 years away from racing I was finally back with the 904cc 2 valve Ducati. After a slow crash on Friday, a 1.55,5 on Saturday put me in second on the grid. Perfect weather and good riders around me took me to a 1.52,7 in the race, after that lap the engine started to vibrate really bad, losing power, and when I looked down I could see some oil on my boot (also you hear rattling noises getting worse throughout the race). After almost having a high side because of the oil leakage, marshals waved the oil flag and I had to stop on lap 7 while in the lead. After the race we found out that the crank case cracked in half.
Good race till it broke! Bad luck M8! Hope to see more once you get it fixed.

Dit ir crack due to stress or malfunction inside?
Thanks for Video that was a good fight to the 5 lap #266
Surprising for a 2v to crack cases designed for more powerful 851‘s. I’ve never heard of before. Nice riding, good vid.
