@@Zachary_Walker Notice the size of starlink dish for internet? Not huge but a hell of a lot bigger than a phone, plus it needs to aim itself properly. Maybe you meant a phone connection over Starlink unit, I was referring to direct to phone which I can't believe even works. (I believe bc they say so, astounding, and for existing phones not even designed for specifically for it)
Had Starlink at our cabin in Northern Michigan. Worked great.. nice option for off grid. They ended up running fiber optic to it so sold Starlink system but no complaints.
@@XD9scCC I certainly hope so. I'm paying $80/mo to AT&T for their junk Fixed Internet. By today's standards, Fixed Internet may as well be dial-up. All options available to my location are no better, unless I pay for the "luxury" option of Starlink. Grrrr....

Zero fiber? Huh, they just over the last year fibered Hawaii, pretty much everyone i know has abandoned cable WiFi and are fiber now, so I’ve got issue with the “zero fiber “ statement.
I think starlink well be 100% sky grid and we will be projected images from "space" an project Blue Beam is on. All the night sky will be an artificial Image.
I will live most of my future life on open sea, I just can't stand being around people anymore (PTSD). Starlink is my only option, $70 a month... 🇸🇪
I don't have PTSD and I can barely stand being around people anymore 😅 good luck to you
youre gonna be so bored on the third day you will regret it
You're on the Internet too much. Turn your phone off and go outside for those 3 days. You won't get bored I promise @@hass6390
Laying pipe is always better
Can’t go wrong laying some good ass pipe
You can never lay enough pipe!
More pipe is always right
The cell phone connection is expected to be very limited foreseeably, won't even support a phone call but emergency texting from anywhere.
Is that due to the way it's put out ? Sounds weird to have 1080 video at high speed but can't handle a phone call ?

God Bless Elon 😎👌🏾💯
People saying the company will track your data… WHAT ARE THEY DOING NOW!
$152.00 a month in BC Canada
Sounds expensive, does the Canadian government add a hefty tax to the total cost?
Canada, lol.

The fact we use and think we need the internet is what proves we are not intelligent

We don’t need to be “saved.” We can save our own damn selves, duh.
If by "us" u mean rich people, yeah..., it may save u. Unfortunately, it won't help us poor folks at $600 for equipment and $160/mo fees.
$120. You will pay $100 for broadband in almost every city. You are unbelievably broke if you can’t afford this. Sorry.
@BlakeDee see $100 a month internet being a luxury when you're watching every penny. Wait, though. The price will come down.
