Tape on glow sticks from dollar tree 10" ones with electrical tape on steel wire you can see them for miles for night fishing just like star wars. At night !!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic working
Myself and 7 other use to ice fish Chusuncook. We use to rent s small cabin by the lake house. Our fishing location was Togue Ledge. We use to put the traps so far away we had to use binoculars to see them. To mark them we would put put pine branches next to them. It looked pretty awesome with 40 traps in the same area. The locals use to laugh and call us the flat landers that plant a forest on the lake. The one and only time we did not fish Togue ledge we fished on the north side of the island. We left early because of heavy snow. When we got back the owner of the camp came to us and asked if we had scene a pair of cross country skiers. Because it was believed they were lost. We did see them. But they were at the time heading in the wrong direction. But by the time we found them they were so cold they could not move. So we loaded them onto the trailers and left our equipment behind. Lucky for them 3 of us were EMT's. If we hadn't found them more then likely the ending wouldn't be good.
Outstanding video of Katahdin. Unless you're in the south, Katahdin dominates from most points Maine. Just under a mile high. It's our mountain, with a unique razor's edge that mighty dangerous on a blustery October day.
Awesome Joe. I talked the wife into a 2 week trip from Greenville to Portage on the GN roads. First stop is Ragged Lake, end will be Fish River Falls .
You want to make the only "Osborne" ( not to mention only girl) want to take up ice fishing. This was awesome Joe, thanks for representing our beautiful little town 💚
Cust also known as eel pout in Minnesota thanku for all videos love them can’t wait for that otter sled how to on wood u installed and how u transport everything
That Chub you caught there looks like it may be one of the lake chubs we catch here in nh. We will go out and catch 4 dozen in a couple hours jigging. Best bait for lakers, outfishes smelt 2-1.
Great video Joe, but something just isn't right. You have over 2500 view and only 199 likes. People are stingy with the mouse button on the likes. C'mon people!!! He deserves a like for every view. Keep up the great work Joe. Greatest fishing videos with none of the BS.
My buddy and I plan to head up to Chesuncook to Cush fish ! Haven’t done it in years and wanna catch a biggen would you say top side or bottom side of the lake is best never been to that lake ?
For goodness sake get some hole covers! Breaking ice or getting snow out of a hole while a fish is on is an absolute pain! Piece of carpet works, though it tends to soak up water. Otherwise they make foam ones, or I've heard of people cutting one out of those black squares people use as flooring in their portable shelters. But definitely worth having!
Have you ever fished Ross lake in the state of Maine I have been watching your channel for a while and I've always wanted to go there but never had the chance to go and I just wanted to no what kind of fishing it was there.
@@JoeHollandFishing northern canada here, we been catching some 15 lb burbot this winter through the ice! My grandfather taught me to cut the tails and the meat turns out like lobster tails. Best freshwater protein ever. Haha

Good call thanks
Curious as to why you don’t use hole covers with your tip-ups ( traps) ? especially with the harsh environments you fish in.
Just never have, thinking about it now
Mummy chub we call them Kelly’s here in Conneticut great bait
Very cool
I hammer the cusk up there with a cast master and a half a smelt and when you see a big mark up high, drag it up and catch the salmon
Nothing better than cusk
