I got my hobonichi planners after seeing you over the last few months. I will be very interested in seeing what you are going into for 2024. I learn a lot from your channel, so thank you for being so unfiltered and honest in your reviews and planning. It helps so much. My fountain pen and paper journey would have been so much harder and more expensive with out your help.
What a lovely comment, thank you! For 2024, I do not have any Hobonichi, but the Common Planners from Sterling Ink follow a very similar layout so it shouldn't be too hard to go from one to the other. Thanks for watching!
@@KarynaLovesToPlan Of course, watching your content is a pleasure, even when I am rewatching some of your videos. Looking forward to seeing the new planner.
I got the common planner in passport, too! I got the camel color. The Mina symphony was my favorite Hobonici cover this year, and Dog looked really fun, too. Enjoy your gorgeous haul!
I picked up the Tomitaro Makino pencil board and blank notebook in A6 and already love them! I'm a big fan of the cover-on-cover, though I totally get where you're coming from about not loving the plastic-y look. The fact that you didn't stain or snag your other, though, makes it seem like you'd have good luck without one. I'm a hot mess of poor luck when it comes to things like that, which is why I'm so obsessed with the extra protection. Thanks for the lovely video, as always.
I've had several people say that these fabric covers should not have the cover on cover on them. Someone compared it to a lovely couch having a plastic cover put on them (reminds me of the late 80's). Thanks for watching!
Love all your purchases from Atlas. I got my order 2 days ago and have been admirimg them all. I also love the bubble wrap they give...I had to pop them all. LOL! Have a lovely day!🤗
I said I wasn't going to but more planner stuff this year, but that tweed cover is amazing. And I love your nail polish, what color is it? Much like the cover, I need it, lol!
I’ve used my Twinkle Tweed daily since I received it on Sept 6th. It’s already getting so wonderfully soft to the touch. I got the A6 and I almost wish I was an A5 user just so I could have a larger size of this fabric. Dreamy! ❤
@@Lorvina1 I saw that!! Trying so hard to be good…. But I truly think it’s going in my November order when I get my English Hononichi. LOL. Thanks for the heads up, in case I didn’t know though. Everyone in the stationary community are always looking out for one another and I love it!
Love the haul! Those covers are so pretty. I have the A6 cover and pencil board from the Makino botanical garden collection. I bought them during the spring release and I love them. I really want the A5 notebook to match. I also plan to get the bow tie cat hobonichi weeks for my on the go planner next year. I bought the bow tie bunnies for this year and I really love it.
I like the look of the Twinkle Tweed so much. Fortunately, I only buy vegan goods and those more expensive fabruc covers have leather interiors, so I can't buy them anyway. I got loads of botanical stuff featurng the Makino illustrations this year. Lots of great choices! Enjoy your haul.
Love the twinkle tweed cover. I would personally never buy the the other cover, due to my stance against PU leather and how it flakes after time. Also the notebook is not with the new TR paper.
I just got the same A5 notebook although I don’t know what I will use it for yet 😃 I also got the same weeks pencil board, the panda A6 pencil board and the HAVE A NICE DAY A6 cover and notebook….. I had no intention of getting Hobonichi but got caught up in all thr RUclips hype…. all bought from a UK company ….❤
Hobonichi comes out with such great things that there is normally something for everyone! And I love that you can purchase directly from them or from international retailers!
From watching you so much, that Twinkle Tweed is so you. It would be so beautiful with the Aterlier Lusso and the Joyful Kesmet pens. Love seeing all of your pretties.
Lovely haul 🤩 I also got the Twinkle Tweed but in A6, that caught my eye the most this year. Im also afraid of it fraying but im going to try to not be rough with it or it'll stay on my desk at home for the most part. But fyi you're not supposed to put cover on cover on it. It actually won't fit anyways. Thank you for sharing. 🎉 BTW, love your nail polish! Kinda matches the tweed various colors 😊
Thank you for the reminder! Now I remember that you aren’t supposed to put a cover on cover on it from when I got my Anemone cover last year. Enjoy your cover!
The two fountains at the top are follows - one at the very top is from Just Turnings in the Pastel Primary Manipulation, and the one below is from Atelier Lusso, the Carina 15 Hepalua.
I just read the top comment and I think it's incorrect. I actually just saw another video where a woman bought the A6 Tweed cover and she put a cover on cover on it. This is her video: ruclips.net/video/biao6TvOat4/видео.html. If you still want to get the cover on cover I think it will fit. Anyways, I hope you are enjoying your purchase. 😊
I love some of the designs, but I can't really justify the price tag since I'm not the most consistent planner user. I can get similar products from a local-to-me brand that sells planners with TR paper in A5, B6, and A5 bundled with covers and clear covers-on-covers for 20 percent of the cost of Hobonichi items. And they have covers with magnetic closures similar to the denim one plus plain pencil boards for under a dollar a piece. There's still enough time to make up my mind and see what I really want. I love the two pens on your desk. What's the make and model, if you don't mind?
I totally get that. If I had not had the Atlas credit for these, I would not have purchased them. If you have a lower cost alternative that works for you, great! 😊 The two fountains at the top are as follows - one at the very top is from Just Turnings in the Pastel Primary Manipulation, and the one below is from Atelier Lusso, the Carina 15 Hepalua.
@@KarynaLovesToPlan I'd love to see Hobonichi fill that B6 gap. It's my favorite size for journaling. It's great for use cases when A5 is too big and A6 is too small. And I like it when my books/planners/journals are the same height. If you ever want a gorgeous veg tanned leather cover or a zippered leather pouch, be sure to look up Galen Leather. They're well-loved in the fountain pen community for their pen cases I just found out about their Hobonichi covers two days ago..
If it makes you feel better, the Cover on Cover is not compatible with the Twinkle Tweed. The Twinkle Tweed will not fit. Also due to the interior leather, Hobonichi does not recommend using a cover on cover.
Cover on cover is the same concept as buying a nice comfy couch and then putting restrictive, uncomfortable vinyl covers over it that you stick to if you sit too long. Kind of defeats the purpose of the thing you’re protecting imo
Protect it with Scotchguard, it won't fit in a cover on cover :) I got it too and it's so beautiful and squish.
Thanks for the suggestion - getting Scotchguard now!
@@KarynaLovesToPlan You should also keep it in the dustbag they gave.
Just curious, why won’t this fit in the cover on cover?
@@live_in_thejoy its quite thick fabric and the cover on cover is designed to fit closely over the nylon covers
@@live_in_thejoy Because they haven't made a cover for it, it's a much different shape and size than an A6 or Cousin.

Haha yes I love all the bubble wrap!! I scared my dog with it - she was not a fan!
That tweed cover is gorgeous!!! I got the dog cover, also stunning, but that tweed might call to me for Christmas!
It is so stunning in person!!
I love those covers! Beautiful❤️

Off to buy the twinkle tweed 😍😍😍😍
Yay! Last I checked Atlas still had it and you can use KARYNA10 for 10% off!
@@KarynaLovesToPlan wondering why the cover on cover won’t work? Just curious
Hobonichi actually says that the cover on covers are not meant to go on the fabric covers - only on the regular ones. Not sure why.

Yay! Glad to know it is the old TRP and not the Sanzen. Hanging on to that for as long as possible!
Beautiful choices! I'm waiting for the A6 Hon (english version) release on Nov. 1 before ordering. Gives me a chance to save up for it!!
