the pocket scissors are one of my fav accessories from hobo, I even put one in my long wallet. Great souvenirs to grab when travel to Japan too. One more good excuses to visit Tobichi 🤭
I am so curious why hobonichi says the hon doesn't fit in the covers... my A5 hon fits perfect in the regular A5 covers. I thought I was losing my mind since I didn't see anyone else try... glad you had the same hunch I did! Also, all my plastic covers were impossible to open too lol, maybe they got a little melty on the trip overseas. Great haul!

Do you worry about bulk and it being able to close at the end of 2024?
@CarrotsOlives I'm so used to the Avec, which is much lighter than the full year. I've been thinking about using the Hon to have the entire year in one book, but I know it will bulk up, and probably unlike the Avec, I won't be able to bend the Hon back on itself.

I am not to worried about bulk. I do not put to much in my hobonichi where it would be concerning for me

They are the same except the cover is hard. Hon = hard cover. Regular = soft / flexible
