The VIOFO A229 Pro takes the prize. If the Vueroid D21 had a sharper image and less of the "shimmering" effect it would be, in my eyes, an equal in image quality to the VIOFO A229 Pro. Another nice video, it ended abruptly and caught me by surprise...I was expecting words of wisdom from you at the end. 😃
The Vueroid D21 looks impressive! I think the VIOFO A229 is probably the category leader! However, I’m wondering if the Vueroid has a Supercapacitor or lithium battery?
Thank you for making such comparison. Is there a night driving comparison ? Thinkware date and time stamping is way too small. What is the developer thinking?
Great vids as always mate. Have to say that the Viofo is the better package as usual, but good to see the Vueroid getting quite close to the Viofo with the front cam. Even though the Viofo has yellowing for the tunnel tests, I always much prefer its overall image processing. Also after market support which is an unknown with the Vueroid brand..
Love your videos and hopefully you can help me with this. How long will the Blackvue dr970 x plus lte last in parking mode with the powercell 8? Trying to find out if it will be longer then the viofo A139 Pro does.
Very interesting - looking forward to the follow-up comparison. I have never heard of Vueroid before. To my eye it is the best of the bunch. The front camera seems to have a slightly wider field of view, does the best job of balancing lighting and shading, and seems to magnify the closer surroundings best which is really what you care about. It's ironic because there's a dearth of information and reviews about that unit. Also, the corporate-release videos for Vueroid are TERRIBLE. Their video quality would never convince anyone to buy it, and they do a lousy job of explaining the features. I'd be willing to take a chance on it if there was a comprehensive analysis of their app functionality, cloud capability, etc., but absent that I'd probably choose Viofo. It's too bad the Blackvue image quality is not very competitive, because if it were on par I'd get the box version for security and cloud capability.
Vueroid is very big in Asia. They are new to North American market. Been testing there various units for 4 months now. I think on March 30 we will have a very good explanation of how it works and give people a very good idea. There is no CLOUD functionality. They will have future LTE model(1080p) but that could be months or years.
@@SafeDriveSolutions - awesome! I really enjoy the detailed analysis that you provide in your comparisons! However, something tells me that the Blackvue might not fair so well in the image quality aspects of the comparison! I guess i’m just partial to HDR implementation within this space!
Viewing this a number of times, I like the Vuroid D21, more and more. The color accuracy seems much better than the other dash cams. The distance between dash cam and object is more accurate than the further away effect of the A229 and BlackVue. The Vuroid could be a litter sharper on image I think. I believe the Vuroid D21 is at the top of the list for my next dash cam. That is written by a long time user of VIOFO.

More teaser videos. March 30 is the big show
What software did you use to edit the four videos?
capcut
Thanks Ben for making this video, amazing job! I know this is not easy to do.

supercapacitor.
Did the Thinkware U3000 have the CPL filter installed for this test?
No it did not
the Viofo, right now is what doing it for me,
the image is just sharper at natural color.
thats great

Watch the full review coming up next Saturday comparing to all 4 of these units
That yellow tint should be optimized in the 1.3 firmware version.
@@billkzhou all units are newest firmware
@@billkzhou very nice 😀

I am pretty sure they are very close to the same current draw. The blackvue will probably draw more if your using lte modem
Hello, what can you tell me about this camera? Can you make a video of it? Nexar One Pro
Not familiar with it.

Nice work Ben.
Thanks.
The sharpness in image quality is between the U 3000 the a229 pro. Do both have voice commands. ??
A229 pro is only one with voice commands
The U3000’s image quality is NOT sharper than the Vueroid D21! Check the video again!

The camera VIOFO A229 Pro has a capacitor or battery ?
Capacitor
Vueroid Dr21 front cam is the best, but the price is quite high.
The Vueroid does well. But the price is not high . once you buy the hardwire cable and SD card for Viofo they are a lot closer to same price.
@@SafeDriveSolutions You have to buy sdcard for Vueroid D21 and hardwire cable is given for free if you buy Viofo.
The U3000 has a great parking mode(very low current draw too), do the others?
Vueroid has lowest at 2ma of current draw. March 30 you will see all the tests
@@SafeDriveSolutions really, interesting, I've never heard of that brand, do they use the Sony CCds?
@@SafeDriveSolutions Are you going to be stocking these units.
@@wally6193yes we got stock right now. 20 in stock. Still need to add to website. Starvis 2 front and starvis 1 rear

How come blackvue is so much more expensive but the quality from viofo is not much better?
are you watching it in 4K resolution on RUclips on a TV?
