if only caesar knew what he created by allowing koba to finish off jacobs. this was koba’s first taste of the revenge he always craved. and 10 years later when he found out there was still humans out there, he couldn’t resist going after them because he knew how good it felt to kill them.
It was inevitable unfortunately
*Caesar didn't create the monster inside Koba, humans did. The only this Caesar did was give Koba the opportunity to unleash it.*
Koba was a monster made by men who embodied the worst of what makes us human. He was more like the men who tortured him than the apes he claimed to love, by the end, which makes it all the more tragic. In getting his revenge, he became _exactly_ like the people upon whom he had sought revenge to begin with. New apes would grow to remember the cruelty of Koba; an ape with the soul of a man, and the compassion of neither.
@@TheCorrodedMan beautifully said. thank you

A masterpiece trilogy. Wish I could watch it for the first time again. This scene in theaters on opening weekend, especially Caesar on horseback, had the place going crazy. Such an awesome experience.
It will soon be a masterpiece quadrilogy.
@@SnailMastercertainly hope so. The fact that they nailed the landing with the trilogy is enough for me. My hope is Kingdom earns enough to spawn a new trilogy. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, The Planet of the Apes, and concluding with Fall of the Planet of the Apes where the apes fall victim to the same weaknesses we currently possess and essentially destroy themselves.

This scenes perfectly demonstrates the difference between Koba and ceaser
Ceaser is merciful and won't kill if he seems it unnecessary
Koba is ruthless and without mercy taking pleasure in killing his enemies
Caesar nods to Koba as if to say “he’s all yours”
Ceasar also said not to kill humans but knew when to allow it as a way to achieve loyalty.
Koba does his dirty work.
We can’t blame Koba he has some scars from the experiments from the humans.

the saddest part about this... The gorrilla's last breaths sounded like he said "Thank you ceaser, for everything."
Koba was so much scarier in this movie than in the other movies.
Probably the fact he doesn’t speak nor even make normal monkey noises, just straight up demonic sounds
Just the ending of the first movie really makes me sad that koba was the villain of the next one. And yes I am sad of buck dying, R.I.P my man....
Yeah cause it wasn’t fair for Koba since all he wanted was revenge, I mean we all known where he’s coming from but that’s the problem, he only knew hate in humans but nothing else.
Jordan Davis 19 Am Sad of And
I already knew that he was totally gonna be a villain from the start the moment that he had disapproved Caesar for protecting Will anyway despite that he’s a human after all. Not to mention that he had bruises, cuts, white demonic pupil, the signs says it all…
This just shows how a simple act of kindness can go such a long way. Caeser freeing Buck gave Buck the courage and loyalty to give his life for the good of his kin and his leader. This trilogy did so much right.

In reality Humans were the thing that made these 3 movies happen
They caused their rise for oppressing them
They decided to cause a civil war between them for absolutely nothing
And caused a war for no good reason

We can see clearly in this scene why the gorilla is the strongest and king of the apes.
Rest in peace Buck you are with Harambe now.
Three years passed & still this is the only hilariously intelligent comment out of thousands
The irony about Koba’s death in Dawn is that he died the exact same way Jacobs did in Rise. In the first movie we see Jacobs hanging on for dear life and pleading for Caesar to save him while Caesar looks down upon him in judgement and deems him unworthy of being saved for everything he has done. He then gave Koba permission to do what he wanted to Jacobs and Koba chose revenge and killed him. Now we see the exact same scenario in Dawn except it is now Koba who is holding on for dear life and pleading for Caesar to save him while Caesar looks down upon him in judgment and Caesar deems Koba unworthy of being saved for everything he has done. Really demonstrates what you give is what you get and in Koba’s case he was treated no different.
He sacrificed himself to save ceaser because he freed him from his cage

Buck sacrificed himself from the bullets John Hamil shot and saved Caesar from the bullets.

Its even more sad knowing that Buck was extremely intelligent at this point and he had to process dying at a whole other level.
r.i.p Buck you will be missed 😭😭
Bucks risked his life to saves Caesar ! The hero of Caesar in The planet of the apes 😢!!!
0:30 you are looking at the stupidest cop in this movie, if he didn’t try to shoot at ceaser buck wouldn’t have gotten angry and attack the stupid cop and the idiot (cop) and the others on the chopper would’ve been alive right now, but I really don’t understand that could’ve buck just push ceaser out of the way and help him run away with the others or something
Dude buck the gorilla did that purely out of instinct. He didn't breathe the gas that made the rest of the chimps like Caesar so obviously he did that as a means to protect him.
The cop probably didn't see buck, and if buck helped caesar escape, then alot of apes will be killed because nobody took down the helicopter, but buck was brave enough to take it down and saved alot of apes...
That helicopter allows them to shoot at the apes (including eventually Caesar) from a distance, where the apes can’t reach them, Buck took advantage of its temporary proximity, since it would probably fly back up again out of reach to shoot at them again.
Jordan Davis 19 Have You
It’s stated that in his Final Month, Buck said Thank You to Caesar for his Friendship. Despite not knowing him well, he still gave his own life to protect his leader, liberator, and the Apes. RIP Buck

Buck was fearless. Too fearless. Fearless to a fault.
Looks like the only monkeys are the humans 2:40
That guy could have survived that fall if he penciled in before the helicopter fell and then swam to shore or to one of the bridge legs
That is completely false 😂 maybe a slight chance but if he swam towards the legs of the bridge the undertow would completely squash him and he was inside the helicopter at an angle when it hit the water :/
Nobody is surviving that fall, it's like hitting concrete at those speeds just think about it, if water is strong and dense enough to break rocks, it's stong enough to kill you
