I miss the old style of Lego RUclips as well, but mostly the late 2010s era for me. Something changed around 2021 and lots of these new RUclipsrs feel like clout chasing npcs with the exact same hyper editing styles. It felt more real and personal before, and you did a great job with this video!

Seriously tho. They all feel like they have to make an edit every 2 milliseconds to keep the viewer’s attention. Mostly meme or Lego Star Wars sound effects and I freaking hate it.
Honestly I like plain simple custom mini figs that aren’t super detailed but that look official

That cowl for Batman is PERFECT and is PRECISELY what I want from a The Batman Lego cowl. I really pray Lego makes The Batman 2 sets and we get an accurate cowl because the cowl is the best part of Batman's design in that movie in my opinion so it was super disappointing when they used a generic cowl.

These are sooo good, you make some the most convincing diy customs I’ve ever seen! I didn’t even know it was possible to paint LEGO and make it look official. I’d love if you did a painting tutorial (plus one for the custom face designs ) as well 😅 but I know I’m already asking a lot.

god. i remember those days. I loved watching MichaelMGF customs. I would also try to recreate the minifigures by customminifigures if anyone remembers that channel. He would make these marvel stopmotion videos predating the marvel figures that came out in 2012. i tried my hand at recreating his wolverine minifigure because he'd sometimes make tutorials so people watching could DIY. simpler times :-)

I love this style of lego video! I’ve been thinking about getting back into custom lego mini figures recently, and this video is really making me want to. Some people still make these kinds of videos thankfully, but they’re overshadowed by the tiktokified channels about buying way too much stuff using their RUclips money

This was such a refreshing video to see. I got flashbacks to watching old MGF custom showcases. Keep it up man! I’d love to see more videos like these. Even if the figures are from different themes and such it would be nice to see you go through your thought process!

Also great to see you included some Lego Halo in here, I spent so much time watching Halo stuff on the old RUclips. I actually ordered a Sand Green Spartan armour from Brick Forge once they made it available again since I missed out on it when I was younger. I did however get the old gunmetal ODST armour!

I remember how my first approach to these kind of videos was back in 2013 with the mgfcustom video of his iron legion from iron man 3. This really gives me that nostalgia watching those when I was a kid

great video man! i mainly see your stuff on insta but I loved this video:) I really miss old lego youtube (like moosefigs) honestly with all the spider-man customs i’ve made this video makes me wanna try doing something like this for those figures once I’m done with my verse although i wanna say i have around 90 figs atm (both rogues and personal characters). Also definitely do that tutorial for the glove tops, the tmnt video, & your other figs! i’d definitely be most excited for marvel and any spider-man figs

What paint color did u use for Selina that matches Lego medium nougat or mix of colors (also maybe restock the Bruce hair print maybe please and or make a after a night out hair print as well that would be amazing ur prints go so hard and have been what motivating me to make custom figures even if they’re only the Batman related (also going to be using this as inspo for my the Batman figs))
