your human spider made me realise this trick would substantially improve a mario/sonic minifig, also really cool to see a full solid snake custom with that hairpiece
I think rambling at the end of the video gives us the perfect opportunity to comment, I love the classic style of RUclips video. Using the inverted round dish for stud cuffs is genius. Your custom designed parts are my favorite that I’ve seen online. I would love to see more part modification tutorials and minifigure showcases in the style of The Batman video. Great work!
Couple possible tops: after cutting to much like you had, use nail clippers to snip off the extras. After sanding you have discolored plastic. Hit it with a heat gun for a little bit to bring back the color. A flame will work also, but dont melt the plastic. You wanna just heat it up.
i’ve seen so many custom minifigures with these cuffs but never knew how, this videos been extremely helpful. My plan is to make purple ones for an upgraded first appearance Batman lego minifigure
Pretty funny that Lego and most moc builders have a hard rule against cutting, painting, and gluing Lego. The custom minifig community are a bunch of rebels
Aight so I’ve been doing the stud cuff technique for like over a year now AND HOLY SHIT CUTTING/SANDING A TINY BIT TO HAVE IT BE FLUSH IS A LIFE SAVER I LOVE YOU
@@Inputbrick thank you I had done it to a batman figure a couple years ago and a couple since hadn't even considered using hollow studs for it tho gotta give credit where it's due 😅

Oh that’s a great idea with the sonic! And thanks!
YOO more semi purist Lego stuff I’ve always wanted to see more semi purist tutorials
Yesss, it’s my fav type of custom!

2:20 we got james being a good role model
Rare moment
Pro tip: try wet sanding. Wet the sanding stick before sanding so you don’t have to blow off the dust
Really really love that Spider-Man James!
Thanks haha

we do a little breaking the rules round here
Also some brickfilmers are rebels too, they damage/modify minifigs, and they have better minifig animations!
It's just Lego you can basically do whatever you want you don't have to go buy nobody's rules
Actually, there are some sets, such as the Space Needle set, that explicitly tell you to cut pieces with scissors
I gotta purchase some parts from your store. Your parts are all so good
Ty!

Nice to see more videos from you, haven’t been tuning in to the live streams but trust me I’ve been watching these videos.
did this to add web shooters to my Lego spider-man and it worked so well, thank you
This could work great for a pip boy 3000 from Fallout!!!
Love your content man, will purchase some stuff from your shop soon! :)
thank you!
Flex tube would work aswell the thicker rubber one
Oh that’s genius!

Bro that Solid Snake is gorgeous
this man deserves so much more attention
It's fun cutting some Lego parts and pieces for certain things my fingers are all cut up from doing stuff like this😂
Yes it’s great! But nooo you gotta be careful
@@Inputbrick I'm careful sometimes but other times I just don't notice the cuts on my fingers until a day or two later 😂
I think i might try this for my minifigures very useful information
Hope it helps!
This is great for “purists” imo, but I prefer Tiny Tactical glove tops or SI-DAN Tactical Gloves, they just look more clean to me
Skipped a step and I no longer have fingers 😕 my Harley Quinn figure looks great with the cuffs tho!!!
Absolutely love these videos! Please keep up the fantastic work
This is SUUUUUPER duper helpful
I’m glad!
are you planning on restocking your dual arm and dual leg guides
i usually just use a hollow stud or a radar dish piece
ANOTHER BANGER 😫😫😫
Thank you!!
You got nice nails James
do you think you’ll be making any pieces/armor sets for dune 2?
When is that daredevil cowl coming?
Stay tuned for info on that!
