Man, RIP. My mom is a computer teacher and I remember back when I was a kid, I used to go to her school and play with all the students there and was treated like a VIP lol. Whenever they were studying in their classes, I used to boot up a PC in the computer lab and play on this legendary website for hours. Good games. Good times. So long, Miniclip. Thank you for introducing me to the awesome world of Flash games.

To see even the memory of flash games slowly be erased from the internet is painful, I’m glad others remember them too.
Luckily, some of the flash games are now archived in "BlueMaxima's Flashpoint" project. It's a game launcher for Windows that contains thousands of archived flash games and you can still play it even after Flash no longer exist

2013? for me it was most like since 2006
this hurts me. i grew up with gravity guy and 8 ball pool and all that jazz. its depressing to see it die like this. RIP miniclip, many memories were made and are never to be forgotten. you will be missed. the end of an era. RIP Miniclip.

As someone who grew up on Miniclip and found Club Penguin and Nitrome's games through it, it's incredibly heartbreaking to see them change in such a way. Rest in peace.

Watching my brother play commando assault on miniclip at my grandma's house is a strange but important memory to me. It's been a long time, and I'm sad to see something I basically grew up with and eventually played myself getting erased. RIP

our childhood does have an expiration date. our teenagehood does also have an expiration date.
It's not gone completely, All (most) flash games have been being archived with a project called "FlashPoint" Anybody can download it and it now contains over a terabyte of flash games (139,707 games) aswell as a custom flashplayer emulation layer. For the most part the only games not on there are the games where developers specifically asked for them to be taken off.

I remember during my childhood days, just got back from school and decided to relax myself down and opened my old laptop and played various flash games from Miniclip, I used to played and have fun together with my friends but now it becomes a memory since my friends gone separate paths in life. I'm glad that some sites like Miniclip and Nitrome that have taken off are still taking care of their old flash games. I actually discovered Nitrome because of Miniclip and the two were an important part of my childhood. It's sad to see Miniclip's website essentially die, but at least Miniclip itself is still alive.

There's a project called BlueMaxima's Flashpoint that has like the majority of Miniclip games. The experience wouldn't be the same, but the games are there, safe and sound.
Oh yeah it also includes the Big & Small Toothpaste game

That's too bad. I mainly grew up on miniclip and flash player games, they were my all-time games on my pc and laptops (formerly my dad's laptop). A few months ago, I couldn't run any games, I almost forgot that Adobe flash player is already dead.

I can't help but feel terribly sad about all this, I have so many memories associated with flash games, I used to play these on snow days, those were the best days of my life. I feel sad knowing kids of newer generations won't be able to experience these amazing games.
