Okay. 😂😂. The one piece that came out is cool looking. You said in the video that you thought we were laughing. I said oh yes I'm laughing. Couldn't help it. Lost it for sure @ I'm going to have to use my nose to pause. Thank you so much for the laughs 😂. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness
That was so much fun to watch!!😂❤ the third experiment looks like and behaves like a nail art product called “spider gel” so you possibly could colour and cure it to get some even more awesome effects! It also reminds me of rutile crystal inclusions. Sooooo fun!
*Coolest experiment EVER,* Dan! 😅 Yep, laughed my socks off! 😂😆😅💕 I can think of all sorts if things to do with that gloopy stuff! Lampwork-type beads, for one! Roll it out of the cup using a silicone tool, or something. Hey! Now you can do Mrs. C's nails with spider art! Can you use silicone tools to scoop it out instead of using your hands? Maybe cure the cab first to keep the lines straight, lay the gold lines & cure, then use brown and black micas (mixed) to rub on the back to look a bit like tigers eye. Maybe do that in layers...? Turned out gorgeous, *I* thought!
I'm sorry, but I couldn't help laughing at your "sticky" situation. It's all good. Stuff happens. I think the cabochon with the gold strands looks pretty cool, with and without the black background. I do prefer the black, though.
You trying to pause with your nose had me almost peeing my pants 😂😂😂 Thank you for sharing this disaster of an experiment. It’s kind of nice to see that even your brilliant mind can go down the wrong path sometimes 😜 I did not expect you to be able to produce a cabochon at the end, and definitely not a beautiful one like that, but that genius mind of yours came through after all
Lol! You definitely gave me the giggles! I'm glad I'm not alone with experimenting and getting in a pickle! Actually really loved the final piece though!
You can buy solid uv builder gel that is basically clay. If you want to experiment more you can mix acrylic powder with the UV resin. The experiment stone looks amazing.
I’m so glad you posted this. I just asked in my last video…what would happen if I mix part A from this company with part B from that company… now I don’t need to experiment
I wondered about mixing different brands of epoxy resins. I have not done it for fear of just what you said happened. When I was young I read a book about the dangers of crafting it talked extensively about mixing chemicals. Spraying chemicals can be dangerous. Fumes can be dangerous. So that put fear in me to be careful my whole life. Even with cleaning products. Reusing bottles and sprayers can be dangerous. Our neighbor when I was young put bleach in her dish water and there was ammonia already in the detergent. I warned her and she asked her doctor and she was so thankful I told her not to mix those. You are so good to mention that about don't do this. Thank you.
Yes, cleaning chemicals are really dangerous! I was a swimming pool technician before YT, 2 chemicals used for pool maintenance together creates chlorine gas, it's so dangerous, some leisure centres have had major issues where the whole centre full of people collapsed to the floor! I have also seen ppl on lives mixing cleaning stuff in their sinks for fun.... its so bad! 😳
Daniel! The end result was not a failure. I think the gold streaked pendant looks amazing. Doesn’t matter how you got there. I’m into dice making, now you’ve got me thinking about how this can possibly be incorporated into resin dice casting. I’ve learned so much watching your channel
That was fun to watch! Looked like Rutilated Quartz. Make the golden stringers on a flat surface, cure, then break them and layer into a clear cab! Black stringers into clear cab, tourmaline rutile quartz.
They make UV gel for nails called spider gel that does something similar. Watching experienced nail artists use that stuff is crazy. TYSM for the experiment!
Well I never thought this video was going to have such a happy ending! That black and gold cab looked amazing considering it started out like resin snot! 😅
As someone who does their own nails, if you mix builder gel with acrylic powder you get what’s called polygel. With polygel you can roll it into balls and manipulate it into shapes. So I wonder if a bit of acrylic powder with UV resin might do what you want. Good luck with your experiments, I really enjoy seeing them!
😂You need a voice activated UV light! 😂 that was fun to watch! 👍☺️ HAPPY EASTER! 🥚🐣 I liked the golden stringed cabochon backed in black. Really effective. 😊
I have to confess Prof I was laughing like a hyena. The mixture reminded me of strings of snot 😂 It really did look like selenite you are right I love how the cab came out, it’s gorgeous. 😍
Thanks Daniel, I’m glad you only got yourself into a sticky situation. I’ve seen the effect of mixing chemicals. Maybe try something safer next time. Happy Easter to you and yours x❤
I have just ordered from Let's Resin. I am a complete newbie, and i have been learning alot from your channel 😀 I am a nail tech and this experiment reminds me of 'spider gel' that we use to create designs on nails. The black and gold is so pretty 😍
You may want to try something called a slip solution or you can actually use IPA. This is what we use with polygel, which is much stickier than the Builder gel and without it it gunks up your brush
I like the piece at the end. I’d love to see you try more designs that way, maybe some neon colored strands and backed in black. All in all though I enjoyed watching the experiment.
I've ordered your resin before and I love the resin ..it's crystal clear ❤❤❤ fingers crossed I'll be able to order more soon ....can't right now ...jus opened a loan to pay for my daughter's braces 😮😊
Hi Daniel great experiments again, i know ths crystal you mean golden rutile, maybe tint the clear with a golden/ yellow and like you said straighter lines and youd be on the money i think, thanks for sharing, happy easter 🐣 ❤ xx
Hmm... That piece you made at the end kinda reminded me of wood grain before you added the black to the back. 🧐 I think if you did that again but layered the gold stripes with coffee shades (latte to almost black and everything in between) it really would have looked like wood. Maybe try that again in the original way (with just the glue) then add a tiny bit of gold to do the stripes and just keep adding a bit of UV resin and pigment in darkening shades of tan to dark brown to keep layering stripes until the back is completely covered. It could be an interesting effect. 🤔 BTW, when doing experiments like this, where you're using your hands directly, please be careful and wear double gloves. Honestly, I'd put a pair of oversized disposable gloves over a pair of household cleaning gloves that are easy to slip out of. Yes, you lose a bit of dexterity but if the chemicals start eating through your gloves or something, the double layers would protect you more and be easier to remove with the household cleaning gloves under it. Admittedly, that's usually easier for someone with smaller hands to do as there are limitations on glove sizes but please try. Don't want to cause yourself damage accidentally with these kinds of experiments. 😅
❤ Hi Daniel, LoL😂 oh boy!. I was thinking of an idea, for example when you make bread and it's sticky you add more flour, so what if you did the same in the way of resin, with baby powder, or using mabey some mica,, 2 to 1 ,,, so long as it's not a liquid. Worth another experiment anyway. As for your gold strand pendent don't knock it, its beautiful, and was thinking black as its backround, and you used black, it looks like a gemstone it's really pretty, as for getting the resin thick enough to handle it,, can't think of anything but that bendable resin that you put in water it's a small resin block that you used in one of your videos b4 mabey that would work not sure you will have to experiment more with your resin flubber!
Very very cool experiment. Would it have worked if you cured the pendent then layered the strings across, then cured it and then backed it with the black.? I am so new to resin so this was so super cool to watch. Thank you Danial ❤
The ultimate test with the gold strands looked a bit like woodgrain. Don't know if that helps. I did like it but thinking what to back it with, definitely not black.
The stringing onto the cabachon would look awesome as woodgrain, but I think you could do tigerseye if you rub some brown and gold mica onto it then back it in brown or black! Sticky situation indeed, but interesting ideas out of it!
I think you ended up making more of a spider gel with that third batch, but this gave me an interesting idea! When you were stirring that it immediately reminded me of thick blown glass. I could see that being wound and cured around a straw to be made into "blown glass" looking beads. 🤔 I'm seeing pale aqua and a pinch of clear glitter or silver flake.
They one you mentioned Spider-Man on is definitely like his web. Only not as strong. 😂😂😂. And i definitely will NOT try this myself. I love the end result with the black background. I don't care if it doesn't look like a natural stone. I might try to recreate that look using regular resin when it is about 85% cured. I really, really enjoy your experiments. Kudos to you ❤❤❤
Daniel, you do make me laugh. 🤣🤣Talk about getting yourself in a mess! Claires Crafty Corner did something similar but not with UV resin and made spiderwebs for a Halloween project a few years ago. Maybe try stretching the stringy bits over a silicone form or cling film wrapped form and then putting them in a mold.
OMG you had me laughing so hard 🤣🤣. I was in tears laughing. But really, I liked how that one turned out. I like the gold piece. I just have to say thanks for the laugh I really enjoyed it. Keep up the experiment's good and bad you just never know what you can come up with.
Guys, not sure if you heard me say it but just incase..... DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!
It's like laffy taffy
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂 defo do not try this… guess what this I ain’t 😂😂 x
Oh my Goodness! That looks like one of my (many) resin messes!😂😂😂😂😊
I really like the way the strands look!
Okay.
Love the fact that you show us what NOT to do, as well as what works well 😂 Thank you for keeping it real Dan 💜
Yes Daniel I've laughed my socks straight off thanks😂
😂😂😂 This is DEFINITELY RUclips content. Thanks for the laughs 💕😄
I’ve seen Wile E Coyote do something similar with Acme glue. Right before he gets all limbs stuck to a board and falls off a cliff 😂
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Wile D Coyote😅😅😅
Oh Daniel, thank you for making me cry….. with laughter. Husband thought I’d gone mad coz I had earplugs in!😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
This is so funny. I've never seen such sticky resin
That was so much fun to watch!!😂❤ the third experiment looks like and behaves like a nail art product called “spider gel” so you possibly could colour and cure it to get some even more awesome effects!
It also reminds me of rutile crystal inclusions. Sooooo fun!
15:27 SpiderDan SpiderDan does whatever a spiderDan does 😂😂😂

That was the BEST comedic entertainment I’ve seen for a long time. I really liked the black one - very elegant 💚🇦🇺
😂😂😂
If anything it’s an interesting way to make webs for Halloween props.
Love the way the black and gold turned out, certainly not a failure when you end up creating such a elegant piece.
Thanks Marnie 😁
That opening 😂. Never feed a gremlin after midnight.
Lol! You definitely gave me the giggles! I'm glad I'm not alone with experimenting and getting in a pickle! Actually really loved the final piece though!
Maybe that's how Spider Man got started. Lmao over here. Too good. 😂
You can buy solid uv builder gel that is basically clay. If you want to experiment more you can mix acrylic powder with the UV resin.
The experiment stone looks amazing.
I definitely will be getting some but had to try this out of interest 😁
@@daniel..coopernever thought about the powder 🤔 I also liked the stone peice 😊 almost wood grain looking.
I’m so glad you posted this. I just asked in my last video…what would happen if I mix part A from this company with part B from that company… now I don’t need to experiment
Yes, definitely don't do that! I have seen some very scary videos from people doing that 😂
I wondered about mixing different brands of epoxy resins. I have not done it for fear of just what you said happened. 💜 Las mezclas arriesgadas, pero el resultado ha sido precioso,
I think you just had a lot of fun making a mess. And had fun watching you. Thank you Daniel.
😂😂 It was kinda fun at the start 😂 Thanks Terri 😁 😊 🫂
I haven't laughed that hard in ages! 😂😂😂
Daniel! The end result was not a failure. I think the gold streaked pendant looks amazing. Doesn’t matter how you got there. I’m into dice making, now you’ve got me thinking about how this can possibly be incorporated into resin dice casting. I’ve learned so much watching your channel

I had to look up 'rutilated quartz' as I'd never heard of it before - looks amazing!
They make UV gel for nails called spider gel that does something similar. Watching experienced nail artists use that stuff is crazy.
TYSM for the experiment!
100% 😁😁
Oh I loved this one! Thanks for the giggles this morning 😂😂. I quite love the gold strands with the black back. It looks beautiful.
😁😂😂
Well I never thought this video was going to have such a happy ending! That black and gold cab looked amazing considering it started out like resin snot! 😅
100% RUclips content! So entertaining!!😂😂 love it!!❤

OMG! Yes! 😂🤣 Happy Easter Sue 🐣 🥰
This was so entertaining! The end result was awesome.
You made me think of my high school art teaching days when kids would mess around with rubber cement! I’d be like no!
😂🤣🤣
I have to confess Prof I was laughing like a hyena.
The mixture reminded me of strings of snot 😂
It really did look like selenite you are right
I love how the cab came out, it’s gorgeous. 😍
😂😂😂 If only it was green 😂😂 Thanks as always 🥰 🫂
You sure have a great attitude and you’re very entertaining.
What a fascinating experiment. The completed cabachon came out really cool. Love it.😊❤
I LOVE watching you experiment with this stuff!! I ALWAYS learn so much!! 💜🤯💜
Awesome experiment. I love the finished cabochon. It looked cool❤
Daniel, I love that you show the mishaps because believe me I have a lot of things that I throw in the garbage
Ooh that striped one would be so pretty using bronze and backed with turquoise. ❤
🥰🥰🥰
❤ It did go somewhere. It went down the drain. Lol. Yanks for trying Dan! ❤
😂😂😂
WORTH THE WAIT... FOR THE END RESULT 👍
😁😂😂
Daniel, I was in tears of laughter! I love the black stone at the end, really lovely.
Thanks Pauline 😁 😊
I loved watching the disaster progress. It reminded me of silly string but more hazardous. I liked the finished cabochon.
Thanks Susan 😁
It was a crazy fun experience! But I really loved the end result
Thank you 😊
There is a nail product called 'spider gel' that stretches into strands. It's probably an easier cleaner option, but I love your experiments.
Love the way it came out the black 😅😅😅
Thanks for the Friday morning laugh out loud! Always love you videos and the piece at the end looked cool!
That was a hell of a sticky situation 😅which had a gorgeous ending result ❤❤❤
Thank you 😊 🙏
Thanks Daniel, I’m glad you only got yourself into a sticky situation. I’ve seen the effect of mixing chemicals. Maybe try something safer next time. Happy Easter to you and yours x❤
Thanks Lesley, yes, not the outcome I had hoped for! 😂
Cool SPIDERWEB ART ! Awesome!!!!
Thanks 😁 😊
Le résultat est super tu t en sors toujours👏👏👏👏
Thanks Chantal 😊 🫂
I love your experiments
I have just ordered from Let's Resin. I am a complete newbie, and i have been learning alot from your channel 😀
I am a nail tech and this experiment reminds me of 'spider gel' that we use to create designs on nails.
The black and gold is so pretty 😍
Always a good watch. Thanks for experimenting for us all
Thanks Kelly 😁
I think you should try again...the Web effect was really cool, and the cabochon was WOW. STUNNING.
Thanks Annie, I'm not sure I will try this again 😂
You may want to try something called a slip solution or you can actually use IPA. This is what we use with polygel, which is much stickier than the Builder gel and without it it gunks up your brush
Awesome, thanks Kris 😊
Great experiment, loved the cabochon!👍🏻
Thank you 🤗
The one at the end there would make a great eye for a serpent type alien creature puppet. I love that.
Thank you 😊
Perfect for nail arts 😅.
Thank you so much for sharing your experimenting video, sir Daniel 🙏
Happy Easter 🐣
Thank you, happy easter 🐰 🐣
I’ve never laughed so much over a resin video. Thanks for the fun 😂
😂😂😂
I think it turned out really cool
Thank you 😊
Made me chuckle 😂. That cab reminds me a bit of petrified wood. Great vid👍👍🥰🥰
Thanks Michelle 😊 🫂
That looked fun, Daniel. I really liked the finished piece.
Thanks Andrew 😁 😊 🫂
The gold final result was still cool. 🎉
Thank you 😊
Wow what a sticky mess 😅 thanks for the laughs ❤
😂😂 thanks Tammy 😊 🫂
I like the piece at the end. I’d love to see you try more designs that way, maybe some neon colored strands and backed in black. All in all though I enjoyed watching the experiment.
Thank you 😊
I love watching you do these experiments - hearing your chuckle as you say I've done some silly things 🤣
Definitely a job for spider man this week 😊
😂😂😂
I've ordered your resin before and I love the resin ..it's crystal clear ❤❤❤ fingers crossed I'll be able to order more soon ....can't right now ...jus opened a loan to pay for my daughter's braces 😮😊
Thank you 😊 It is good stuff 🥰
Thank you I had a great laugh watching muck around with hat spider snot. LOL
😂😂😂
Congratulations Spider-Dan
Ans this is totally RUclips content. Nothing like seeing someone else make the mess so I don't have to.
Thanks Deborah 😁 😊
J adore tes expériences 😂😂😂😂😂
I think you were going for rutiles, with the gold, which is a really neat idea!
Thank you 😊
Still like that effect off end piece 🎉🎉
😂 Daniel, have you ever seen one of those cartoons where a character gets stuck in some kind of goop?
That was you playing with that mix. 😂😂😂
😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Hi Daniel great experiments again, i know ths crystal you mean golden rutile, maybe tint the clear with a golden/ yellow and like you said straighter lines and youd be on the money i think, thanks for sharing, happy easter 🐣 ❤ xx

😂😂😂omg...I laughed my clogs off!😂😂...sort of thing I would do UNINTENTIONALLY...thanks for the laughs...
😁😂😂🤣
Maybe I commented too early 😅, glad to see the trial of this solution too
😁😂😂
Dan, thanks for the giggle today.
😁😁😂😂😂
To get a tigers eye type look, back the gold stripes with an orange ish brown. I think it would have worked.
I think it's really cool!
Thanks 😁
Brilliant! ❤should be a series 😂
Very very cool experiment. Would it have worked if you cured the pendent then layered the strings across, then cured it and then backed it with the black.? I am so new to resin so this was so super cool to watch. Thank you Danial ❤
Possibly but they would have looked flat instead of round as the strings would sit flat on the cured resin 😁
The ultimate test with the gold strands looked a bit like woodgrain. Don't know if that helps. I did like it but thinking what to back it with, definitely not black.
😂😂😂 oh Daniel you are so funny, can resin really be pliable without getting into a mess 😂
Loved it though after feeling very low today ❤
😂😂 thanks Julie 😁
Thanks for sharing what not to do⁉️⁉️❤️
😁😂😂
Although it didn't work the last one where you put pva glue with the gold i thought is really cool 😮
Thanks Tammy 😁
If you want tigers eye effects, use those beautiful cats eye nail powders or gels.
Great tip 😁😁😁
The stringing onto the cabachon would look awesome as woodgrain, but I think you could do tigerseye if you rub some brown and gold mica onto it then back it in brown or black! Sticky situation indeed, but interesting ideas out of it!
Great idea 💡 😁
Crazy fun video 😄
Thank you 😁
I think you ended up making more of a spider gel with that third batch, but this gave me an interesting idea! When you were stirring that it immediately reminded me of thick blown glass. I could see that being wound and cured around a straw to be made into "blown glass" looking beads. 🤔 I'm seeing pale aqua and a pinch of clear glitter or silver flake.
Yes, that could totally work 😁
My first thought, too! BEADS! 😅💕
Yes, definitely a better way 😁😂
You made wood grain. I love it. Btw we are going to do it!😂
OMG you had me laughing so hard 🤣🤣. I was in tears laughing. But really, I liked how that one turned out. I like the gold piece. I just have to say thanks for the laugh I really enjoyed it. Keep up the experiment's good and bad you just never know what you can come up with.
Thank you 😊 🙏
So funny but the last piece is really pretty ❤
