heyyyyy lovelies, in this video I will be sharing with you how I used a new washi tape in Resin but also how I discovered a technique that totally elevates the results. I was really trying to find a technique that didn't give me the same results I got in the past.
I am using the Potted plants washi tape from the washi tape shop code is below. This technique will elevate your resin art when using washi tape in resin and it is such a simple resin technique.

You should also be able to spray them with a clear acrylic sealer to hide the edges instead of the UV resin. I do that with printable stickers.
As someone who has never used resin & clicked on this video as a result of some algorithmic crossover, I'm quite impressed with this.
Now I have a trick in my arsenal if ever I DO happen to find myself in a resin/sticker dilemma 😊❤

@@annabellgomez1013 I too have never seen a resin tutorial/dilemma and was very intrigued. So much so that I plan to make these using stickers and make into key chains.
I bet the higher temp of a thicker layer of UV resin is what got it on the first one. The ones with the thin coat first ARE perfection!!!
I LOVE this hack! I bought some lovely feathers and water plants washi stickers and only used one, due to the obvious outline. Three years later, I intend on digging them out and creating! Great hack, thank you so much for sharing it x

I hadn't seen resin done before, beautiful result! When I overlap stickers with a colored border, I trim the overlapped portin of the sticker border. It works to make the stickers join seamlessly. Great when collating, too. Your enthusiasm is infectious! Thank you.

Geesh.. such a simple thing to do for such stunning results!! No, I didn't know this and I'm so glad you showed this! I just got a roll of jeweled jewelry pet tape and my first 2 came out with the lines visible. Hurrah for a fix! BTW, if I weren't a plant killer, I'd totally use these as plant markers for seedlings!!

I know when I've done washi tape on tumblers I have to seal it first or its a nightmare. So it makes sense a tiny layer would seal. These came out really cute ❤
What a discovery Claire, this also helps, so you don't have to cut the sticker close to the design, just to get rid of the edge!!! Amazing

the washi tape stickers might look good on a larger size base for putting under vases or small pot plants (with the sticker at the bottom or off to the side)
