A lot of people are saying he’s touching her too much but I don’t really see it. To me it seems like he’s trying to make her feel safe because understandably the dentist or any kind of doctor is pretty scary for a kid. Along with him just general holding her head in place so she doesn’t move while he’s doing shit.
A good pediatric dentist is so important. I had a great one and as an adult I have no fear or problems going to the dentist. Little Mary handled her first visit like a boss

Yeah, he should be wearing gloves and a mask...but I have to say...Mary follows directions very well for being just 3 years old! :)
Gloves weren't a requirement at the time of filming.

But to me there was a lot of touching, I have never seen a dentist touch that much. In one part didn't he touch her hand? Or am I going crazy?

now that everyone is hyper-aware of that stuff it is seen as weird but at the time it was fine

Are you serious? Yup, that's his plan. To groom his patients while their parent/s and a nurse are present. He's being kind and gentle.
