A good pediatric dentist is so important. I had a great one and as an adult I have no fear or problems going to the dentist. Little Mary handled her first visit like a boss
A lot of people are saying he’s touching her too much but I don’t really see it. To me it seems like he’s trying to make her feel safe because understandably the dentist or any kind of doctor is pretty scary for a kid. Along with him just general holding her head in place so she doesn’t move while he’s doing shit.
so weird to think that Mary is likely in her 50s and that the Dentist in this video has likely moved on. One of the great things about the internet is that it shows the past exactly even though the people in it may not be around anymore.
In 2022, “stable home life” shouldn’t mean anything to me Unfortunately it means a heck of a lot. No matter what your life is, the life of your kids should be predictable and healthy
Bro is braver than me at 19 lmao. First time i went to the dentist when i was like 5...screamed my head off. Didn’t work. Had to wait till i was older and more brave.
I agree with every one But to me there was a lot of touching, I have never seen a dentist touch that much. In one part didn't he touch her hand? Or am I going crazy?
I would say that yes he touches her a lot, but times were different. People didn't talk about assault and so forth and children were taught to be "seen, not heard." I don't think this dentist was doing anything wrong necessarily; we are just seeing his behavior through a different lense. I'm glad we have more awareness today and different standards for the treatment of children.

Yeah she is very proud 👏 🥰
Im also wondering if his bangle bracelet is a male fashion choice or a POW bracelet

He didn't give me creep vibes I thought he was really nice. Wouldn't mind him being my dentist
Mary is 53 years old now.
And it's not impossible that one of the adults in this video is now dead
8:05
Mary: yeah? Looks like a scary ass HOOK to me doc!
marys to smart to put up with docs BS
3:03 actual visit starts 🙂

Yeah, he should be wearing gloves and a mask...but I have to say...Mary follows directions very well for being just 3 years old! :)
Gloves weren't a requirement at the time of filming.
19:00-19:04 awww 😟

Exactly 11 years before I was born :O

To think the little girl is probably a grandmother now.

Awe she was 10 when I was born.
Yeah me too ✋ 🙂
Mary is a good sport
Is it really necessary to separate a THREE year old from her mom for her first exam?
ikr
i dont think it is
Yes
It's so necessary wen the children didn't contact with the dentist
This was 50 years ago...
This was taken so long before gloves and masks were invented.
I know right
I agree with every one
But to me there was a lot of touching, I have never seen a dentist touch that much. In one part didn't he touch her hand? Or am I going crazy?
he did touch her hand
well this was a different time
now that everyone is hyper-aware of that stuff it is seen as weird but at the time it was fine

Bare hands??
ware are his gloves? I would not let anyone touch my mouth with no gloves on.
And yet, there was nobody dropping dead because of a routine visit to the dentist in that era.
Since my dad took my woobky tooth 🦷🦷 and a blood
19:02 ahh
He’s not wearing gloves🫣🤢
Ever heard of grooming? Tgis is what it sounds like.
Are you serious? Yup, that's his plan. To groom his patients while their parent/s and a nurse are present. He's being kind and gentle.
@@stormblessed2321 Yes. But, that doesn't change that fact that this is what grooming sounds like. And BTW, the parent isn't in the room.
oh god what a creep XD
IKT
IKR
He's really weird 😮
That doctor is a creep
