At least VW gave you reputed Bridgestone. Hyundai has given my Tucson South Korean make Nexen tyres which are even more noisy and got easily punctured twice even though they have run only ~6k kms. Now I’m at a really odd position now since Tucson’s tyre size is very rare 225/55 R18 and in India only Bridgestone makes that too their Turanza T001 series which are very average and nowhere close to the excellent B290s and Dueler H/P Sport and neither you,Crysta owners and BHPians are happy about it. So the only option for me now is to upsize but doing that will lead me to switch to RFTs which I don’t want since they are even more noisy. If I do upsize the size would be 245/50R18 (just a 0.36%change).Also there are no Michelin authorised dealers in my state, those who were have changed to Bridgestone and persuade me to go for Turanza. So whenever I think about this topic I get a headache 🤕 so the only solution for me now is to forget about this topic and let the stock tyres run for as long as they can.😑 I hope you have a good time ahead with Michelins. My brother who has a Merc GLE came as stock with Michelins got cut only after ~12k kms. Then he switched to Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport and he has driven it for ~55k kms and still it has ~10k kms life left. They are very good for SUVs and personally if I would have been you I would have simply bought the Dueler H/P Sport which is available for this size (215/60 R17),they are just the equivalent of excellent Bridgestone B290s. Anyways have a safe drive ahead. Thanks again!
Aryaan, are you facing any issues with your Nexen tyres? In my case, brand was fine but cars were kept too long in the sun which resulted in weaker tyres.
I have been using Michelin primacy 4st for my Crysta 2.8zx, great tire and has an excellent performance on wet conditions. The previous turanzas by Bridgestone were notorious for having tire bursts and pinching etc. It was a great tire but I found it to be a tad hard for a heavy mpv. Primacy 4st has been a real good tire, the downside is that since it's rubber is softer the change intervals are higher.
Got my Innova Crysta 2.8 ZX AT upgraded tyres from Bridgestone 215 55 R 17 to Michelin 215 60 R 17 yesterday…!!! Pinching and wear n tear issues with Bridgestone hence the upgrade… but Michelin dealers are kinda looting customers… had to pay 11800/- per tyre for changing 4 tyres and no exchange/buy back of old ones… 5 yrs warranty on manufacturing defects only… is the Michelin hype worth it…????
Nice thing done brother. My father's Honda City too have Michelin XM1+ Energy tyres installed 11 years ago. And they are phenomenal to drive and for long trips (highway rides). I believe brands should give a full size spare wheel.
Govt should make it mandatory
@@SunderdeepSingh It doesn't make sense giving a low spec tire that won't last long.
Completely eliminates the idea of a spare tire

2. Safety ( speed limit )
