- Hi. Today I invite you to test Ulanzi j12 wireless microphones together with Dji osmo action 3. We will see if it is an alternative to Dji wireless microphone.

I was looking for exactly such video! Was out of budget to buy for DJI Mic so Ulanzi J12 is great option basic motovlogging! Thanks mate.
So without needing to charge and use the external mic, you can simply plug the mic into the tyoe c port on the camera?
My Boya BY-XM6 wireless mics have dB gain control built into each mic and the receiver too, so you can play with quite a spectrum of gain/reduction.
I am using an 8$ microphone specifically with my Action 3, so far I am very satisfied l, we call wind eliminator mic. I use it for Motovlogging. I hope it is also available in your country. Maybe look for someone who knows how to create a mic and ask him to make you a mic that has low gain at least minus 10db, then set the action 3 gain to -0db, that will work perfectly. With latest update on camera with mic plugged in you can now decrease the sensitively down in the mic / camera settings

the ulanzi j12 is great. i using it on my DJI OA3 as well.
the only thing is you have to get the right settings for you and right ANC level. but overall for the price is really good and the sound is clear for vlogging
Yes I agree. The price is very good and the sound quality as well. But for normal vlogging not for motovlogging.
I've been using the Ulanzi J12 with my Samsung S21 Ultra 5G flawlessly for months, I thought it would make a great motovlog mic however I have tried more than enough times to get them working together and the mic receiver when plugged into the action 3 crashes it every time, unable to record and to reset the camera I have to eject the battery.
I'd be happy if I could just plug mine in and spend the time getting decent audio, but sadly not the case for me 😢 informative video all the same 👍🏻
uuu that's weird. I had no such problems. Maybe the last update changed that it works normally for normal vlogging

yes, it works fine. the only problem is that the receiver is a bit obscured access to the power button. That's why I use an adapter but it's not an adapter Boya.
Is this compatible to gopro with media mod?

Can it record the exhaust sound when put in the back pack?
Yes you can but the sound was too loud because you cannot set the sensitivity of particular microphone and if you will put this on the timeline you have only one sound not two which you will be able to decrease the volume of one which had been in your backpack

Szczerze po pewnym czasie użytkowania nie polecam mam Sony a73 man Sony a6300 i z tymi dwoma kamerami naprawdę Mikrofon nie działa dobrze najlepiej te mikrofony działają z kamerą DJI Osmo Action 3
maybe this microphone is the ideal solution when you get off the bike and need to take videos. As you say if you can't change the sensitivity maybe a corded lavalier is better. Thanks for the video!

the receiver or t when plugged in to the OA3 does not turn on.. do you have any idea on why that is?
If it is possible try to give back the actual j12 and try with another one. I do not have the problem at all.

I am not sure that in DJI Osmo Action 3, recording through external microphone and charging of the camera can be done simultaneously. Can you be 100 % sure of this?
I thought it would be possible. Unfortunately, it is not possible to record and charge the camera at the same time.
