- Welcome to my FIRST EVER POKER VLOG!
I play an evening session of 1 3 at ARIA to start things off and it's a roller coaster ride of action!
In this one I take a work trip to Las Vegas, and afterwards stay an extra week just to play poker.
I'm very proud to start creating content for something that I've always loved and hope this will be the first of many Vlogs to come.
#poker #vlog #cashgame #lasvegas
Came up in my feed. And I know you're going to smash the pokervlog style that we all crave. Here's to your first!
Thanks!!
I'll do my best 🙏
enjoyed the blog. Looking forward to the next episode
Congrats on a nice session and good first vlog. Look forward to seeing more in the future!
Great content and narration. I follow 3 of the same guys that you enjoy watching. You now have a new subscriber.
Ah thank you Stacey!! 🙏🙏
I'll do my best to earn that follow.
Awesome video champ!!!! I’m going to Vegas in 2 weeks and I’ll definitely go check it out and play some poker 🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I like watching 1/2 live games because that’s mostly all I play. I’m pretty new to it, so blogs like this really help to learn how other players think. Thanks for this vlog!
Thanks Ryan!
Same for me, I love watching the bigger games but find a lot of those things don't apply to the smaller games as players are very different.
I think you're catching on in the algorithm with viewers similar to yourself - nice! Best of luck with your new journey
Euron Greyjoy! Had to do a double take when this popped up in my recommended because I remembered the name hahaha. Was a pleasure punting off some chips to you at the Bellagio, really enjoyed the vlog keep killing it my man
MATTEO!
I remember you man, thanks for the love! The table wasn't nearly as fun after you left. Hope to battle again some day!
First poker vlog? felt like you've done this before, great job editing and commentating
please post more :)
Thank you Kasey!
I'll definitely keep making more, and hopefully improving each time.
solid play man I wish you the best of luck! I currently play 1-2NL myself and am studying and trying to get better at the game, happy poker my friend I look forward to more vlogs!
nice vlog! we need more jersey vloggers AC POKER ROOMS ARE LIVING IN THE PAST! its time to allow the vologger boom in poker rooms
Best of luck! Love playing at the Aria!
Thank you! It was my favorite place to play in Vegas on this trip.
New England poker player here! Here's my perspective on a few key moments in this episode:
8:14 I can understand why you did what you did; all the A-high hands in the world might play this way.
9:13 I agree with your assessment. The shove is the way to go because it puts the A-high hands, and maybe some pocket pairs, into a disgusting spot.
9:32 As played, I would be a little hesitant to make the shove because J-10 got there on the river.
10:22 That is what I would do too, because a bet would be WAY too obvious at these stakes.
10:53 Sure, the board pairs on the river, but given the action so far, there's next to nothing to be afraid of. If you were ahead on previous streets, you should still be ahead most of the time. In fact, I'd probably shove to target hands like the premium pocket pairs other than J-J, and 6-4 if somehow someone has that.
12:46 Not a complete brick; 5-6 gets there for the straight, but at these stakes, it's highly unlikely she'd have that.
14:03 I like to slow-play sets on a disjointed board like that too.
15:12 Once again, I find myself agreeing with your assessment.
16:05 Did you mean to say, "exactly one *club*?"
16:48 That looked like $25.
18:54 8-5 and 5-3 get there on the turn, but hardly anyone plays either of those.
On that note, consider me subscribed! I'll be heading out there myself next month! Wish me luck!
Wow sick call on that k9 hand!
Thanks! 🙏
Definitely a "player type" dependant call.
Great video, glad I found this. Looking to play $1/3 in Vegas for the first time this summer
Thanks for watching Jimmy, and good luck to you! 🙏💪
I know I'm a little late to the party, but great first vlog. Good luck to you and your channel.
Thank you so much Lobo Poker!!
🙏🙏

I do have a day job so weekly isn't likely for now, but maybe one day 🙏
@@JoshUron ok , Good luck
Did you open limp the (2ND HAND) Q6s UTG?
Also for the card graphics move them up a bit and give them the following colors
♤Black or yellow
♡red
◇blue
♧green
HAHA you can say "have a good one"! Cheers to your first vlog i'll subscribe and way to bring more attention to the game. Hope we can play some day.
Thanks!
I hope we play some day as well.
Good luck brotha!!
Incredible you don’t have 100k yet
Good day's work!
Good luck I subscribed
Love the hair.
Considering you have several thousand views within a few days on your very first vlog, I'd say you are doing quite well!
Are you using a camera on your shirt? The swaying is a bit distracting. Having your phone sideways on the rail might be the way to go.
Its a little rare to see vloggers at Aria. I wondered if they allowed videoing like Bellagio does.
I use my phone on the rail but was experimenting with different angles, mostly holding it in my hand. The first few videos will be similar but I'm looking to get a holder of sorts for the future.
As for Aria allowing vloggers, they were very accommodating and pleasant. Simply speak to the floor and they'll ask for your players card and put you on an approved list as long as their terms aren't violated.
better camera asap better lighting asap. hey views looking nice for being your first one!!! just a few tips. keep it up.
one more thing the emojis for diamond clubs hearts and spades look better for the graphics than putting C D H etc
last comment I promise. you made some amazing plays in the video. Very good poker player would be hard to win up against you haha. amazing work. good commentary very few mistakes keep it up new sub!
Thanks for the tips!
I appreciate the feedback and definitely agree on the emojis for the suits, good call 🙏
Good blog and even a better play Josh!
Subscribed🎉
Good luck
Thank you sir!
First
I like the pace at which you describe your hands; Nice and slow for a dolt like me.
Great content! Not sure how difficult it would be, but actual playing card graphics instead of text would be cool. Until then, keep telling your opponents to suck a frog butt and take them chips yo! 🐸
Thanks!
I appreciate the feedback and will see how hard that would be.
U gotta be kidding me😂😂😂
Congrats on the video! This looks like it took forever to make. Just waiting for the shirtless lifting content
Good luck. Are you trying to play professionally?
Maybe one day, not quite at that level yet but it would be great!
Josh - glad to see you got this Vlog up. I played with you at the Aria on 10-19 when you were recording this. It was cool to watch the process. I hope the best for you.
Thanks for playing 1-3. So many Vloggers show big money games that most of us can't relate to. This is like watching a table I regularly play which helps me self evaluate.
Again, my best.
Hi Sean, thanks!! I remember you that I liked chatting & playing together and hope you enjoy the content.
I'll try to make my way back out to Aria soon, hope you see you there.
7’s hand was a punt
Thanks for watching Jacob! Yea, 77 is my kryptonite as you'll see in future episodes lol
996 hand was really bad.
Nice hourly rate 100$ :)
In the 77 vs opponent’s AA hand, I must say I disagree with your logic for the preflop action. Your opponent limped in EP, and then 3-bet after a raise and a call.. you say it’s reflective of hand like AK or AQ…. But isn’t it more reflective of an AA or KK type of hand at these stakes?
I rarely see people limp with AA, KK in low stakes games. It happens, but generally most players aren't trapping like that, rather just going for value.
Clearly I was wrong here though so 🤷♂️🤦♂️
In my experience at these stakes a limp re raise is guaranteed to be aces or kings. Like 99.9999999%. I see it all the time. Rarely ever see it with AQ and sometimes AK.
996 hand was bad
Check that river ffs
msot of hand I gonnna make a mistake omg
Thanks for watching, and good luck when you play!
