- When the opportunity of a lifetime presents, what shooting rest do YOU want? Picking the right bipod or tripod can make or break your shot.
In this video, Rob Gearing and I review Spartan Precision’s mountaineering-quality shooting systems, including everything from the tried-and-true Javelin Bipod to the new Hoplite tripod system. Enjoy!

Been a podcast listener for 4-5 years now and happy to see that you now have your own RUclips channel after being an apprentice on Ron Spomers.
Rob is a genius and a great guy. If I can get into western big game hunting consistently I would love to use one of those systems
Thank you very much for your support! It’s been great doing videos with Ron, and we’ll still do videos together!
@@BackcountryHuntingPodcast you are quite welcome and thanks for providing such high quality content over the years. I am glad to hear that. You both are highly trusted voices in the industry in my book 📕 🤠🦌🫎🐻
Thanks for watching and remember to SUBSCRIBE!
Tripod > Bipod. I have the Spartan Bipod. I've shot all of two animals from bipod over the years. Excited to see the change to tripod. I do have a (non Spartan) tripod but mine is all in one system that I can glass from, spotting scope from, and even stand up behind. I love seeing the innovations!
Keep the great content coming!
Subscriber 138......I have been waiting for this to happen for a long time. Looking forward to the ride my friend.
Thanks!
Nice to see the amazing content in video vs podcast. I love the podcast in the vehicle though.
Thank you for watching/listening! We’ll be filming most of the Podcasts in the future, both on the road and at home.
that bipod look great, but I'm never gonna be prone in my Northeast Georgia hunting environment, but I would like something that's quick to deploy for stable firing in lieu of off-hand
