I bought my MK1 3 litre GT ford capri in 2004. It was pretty much the same state. I decided to go with the box arch body kit with a duck tail spoiler and 16 inch 3 piece split rims and blue and white paintwork to make it into a "works" replica. Sounds epic.

Yeah well the original touring car was on 16 inch wheels so I had a set made up for mine by compomotive.. Based on the original BBS. one. And gold centres with deep polished rims. I think anything closer to the design would be a breach of of copyright. Mine cost £376 each!!!! I think image do a similar wheel. Anything else on it wouldn't look right. I've had capris every day since the summer of 1986. I also own a red MK3 2.8 injection I bought in August 1991.

You should make a Perana replica, they were the south african version with the 5.0L V8 motor.

Custom wheels, nice! I'm not surprised by the price tag but I'll be damned if they're not the perfect wheel for the car. 👌😎
