New A's Stadium Renderings Look Aussie Familiar

The news release compares the renderings to a “spherical armadillo” designed to enhance natural light. Let's be honest for a minute, from the outside it looks a lot like the Sydney Opera House... just being honest.

Scaled down version of the Sydney Opera House? It is at least twice the size of the Sydney Opera House which is only 4.4 acres.

I like the design even if it's the antithesis of most modern ball parks.. And that's probably a good thing. I am sick of the retro-brick baseball park trend of the 90's and 00's..
