    Hey guys! I hope you will like this one 😊 Let me know which loyalist or traitor legions/chapters you would like to see next!

    Great video. I enjoyed seeing you go from dark to light instead of zenithal. I’m trying that next. I’d like to see Blood Angels, but I have a major problem doing imperial fist. Yellow is as hard as white for me. Can we do a video on yellow? Thanks for what you do. Let’s get to 10k soon.

      Imperial fists are definitely planned :) I just painted the best yellow I have ever done on the shoulder pad of another legion. I might adopt that to paint a full imperial fist 👊

    I'm obviously not a professional but it seems way easier to spray it white, black wash, highlight. Then to do it this way painting the entire model multiple times. I'm already a slow painter so no disrespect I wouldn't do it this way.

      :D Sure, this is not meant for painting your troops. It is more for something fancier, like a special character. There are definitely easier ways to do it, but some people,like me, just like the more difficult fancier approach :)

    Beautiful work. I enjoy your videos. What brushes are you using atm?

    • @ph3lansminiatures
      @ph3lansminiatures  2 месяца назад +2

      Thanks 😊 My most used brushes are from Rosemarry and Co. But lately, and for this model too, I have been using GreenStuff World Gold series brushes, and they are awesome 👌

      @ph3lansminiatures interesting...I've been using R&C for years too, but lately I've been thinking about trying something new.

      @@ph3lansminiatures What sizes do you recommend for starting out? Seems like most painters only use one or two sizes for any detail work

    • @ph3lansminiatures
      @ph3lansminiatures  2 месяца назад +1

      I also happen to use mostly two :D For this one, I used Size 1 and size 00 gold series GSW brushes (the size 0 is too skinny for how long it is for my taste) I used the size 1 for 80%-90% of the model and the 00 for the rest.

    Fantastic work, I imagine it would be tough to do an entire army this way, was there a reason you didnt use your airbrush this time?

    • @ph3lansminiatures
      @ph3lansminiatures  2 месяца назад

      This is definitely not a batch painting technique :D It is more for single figures. As for the airbrush, sometimes it is just good practice to do something that is easy to do with an airbrush with a brush instead.

      @@ph3lansminiatures thanks my man, I appreciate the videos without an airbrush even more as I don't own one yet 😅 a true centre piece captain. I really want to try out this technique on a converted sanguinary priest. Thanks again
