I'd say try it on ECO..the simulated shifts do hold back. I turn off sport especially on a roll. Because then the CVT tries to not simulate the gears if you slowly rev it up then press on it. It will keep the rpm up without shift.

I have a 18 LE and plan on doing about 250hp, coming from an awd audi with 255hp the 3.2 paired with quattro doing 5 sec 0 to 60 and coming to this car where it feels sooo sluggish I need to bring the sluggish down some but keep it a good daily car.

Have you tried methanol injection in your car? I bet with being in Florida it will help a lot and get you a bit more power. Keep up the good work

Honestly don’t buy the whole kit, just buy the turbo, exhaust manifold , and down pipe the rest can be purchased on eBay/ Amazon and its will be the same thing, also a lot cheaper, a limited slip would help a lot but the next thing I would get is a manual transmission and get rid of the cvt if your looking for more power, at 220hp the cvt handles the the power hood.

Just get the Turbokits.com kit as it has everything you need to start and the quality is excellent. No messing with trying to get everything you need. I've had it on my 2009 Corolla for 4 1/2 years now and I love it.
We’re you able to find a complete kit for this car? Been looking into it, and I’ve seen a few kits that would only require a bit of custom piping. Which isn’t a big issue. But stil looking for one that’s made just for this car.

Yes you can lol, any 2zrfe manual transmission will bolt right to my engine when these cars were first released you could order them from the factory with a cvt or manual they usually swap the cvt out of a car they have finished already to a manual because not a lot of manuals were being built

@@crazytech5755 not at all, once you install u the clutch, shift linkage and shifter, might need a new tcu and, you should be good to go you won’t get any errors because the ecu only controls the engine not the transmission.

@@masonvevo. your rolla hatch has the 2.0 whereas the one in the vid is the 1.8. the 2.0 has a very high compression ratio so I dont think it would be very safe to turbo but who knows, and I dont know if there are any turbo kits out for the 2.0

From what I’ve seen online the 2zr-fe can handle 250 and the CVT holds about 220 before it starts to wear quickly.
