DHG NightFall Hunter's are intimidating but are easy to take out although you need to be careful. If you know their attacks then you can easily dodge them and melee's to the back can take one out (more is required on harder difficulties). Just use grenades, heavy weapons and conventional weapons on the weak spots then just dodge and hit the second one, easy.

In the distance you see something large flying towards you. It gets close enough to see... It's a combined army of drones, watchers, and sentinels... O_o

I actually really like drones- its a different type of enemy that is always a fun “surprise” when they come swarming out of vents from above or in a cave. Its a good way to spice things up with a flying enemy (not counting jetpack brutes/elites)

what i liked about them is that it forced you into changing strategies to deal with, in the same way i like that the brutes enter a berserk state and you have to quickly kill them before they melee you to death i actually miss the drones, i think it would be cool to fight large sized ones aswell with maybe dual weapons.
Really wish the drones will come back soon in my opinion they were the most unique covenant units, save the hunters, do to the nature and just random times they'd appear
I recently started a new account on my 360 and had to go back to ODST for the firefight achievements (200,000 FF score on each map) and the drones are the only thing that can mess up my otherwise flawless system of carbine + rockets/laser making me go back and fight my way through a half dozen brute jumpers just to grab a smg

the best protection against drones is the MANURE Armour Chris designed it himself im so proud of him.
I once stuck one in halo 3 and, just like a grunt, it went into its allies and the spike grenade took half of them out.
