Can I just make a silly, aside comment? I was an editor (and camera/direction/everything) for about 15 years and I've noticed something while learning about painting miniatures from all of the amazing sources online. So many of these videos about techniques and tips and whatnot start with that killer rocking music, then the guy comes on and he has the energy of a sleeping iceberg lettuce. Not so for this vid, and that was kind of refreshing. You brought some energy and voice projection to the mix. Well done.
This is a really good video. I have been wondering why my Winsor and Newton as well as my Artis Opus brushes are having issues since even before painting with them the first time. Everyone ends up just spamming you full of things like "DON'T LET PAINT GET INTO IT" and so on, but that doesn't apply if you haven't actually used it yet.
Coincidence? I also use a talenti gelato cup as my water cup haha. Thanks for the info, this helped me realize that I've been cleaning my brushes wrong, I was always twisting it, thinking it would help me keep the shape better! The agitating motion in the hand is way better too, I tried it today and got way more paint coming out of the ferrule then I even knew was there, thanks!
Just ordered a set of bomb wick sables - I hope to God the nice weasel taint set I got today has the same QC as these did.... if so - you have got a lifetime customer. Rock on people....
This is a great brush care video thank you Slowfuse. Quick question: I am looking at your Sam Lenz Weapon Rack Brush set. That comes with 3 Kolinsky Sable Brushs and 2 larger synthetics right?
Dude just found this video searching for reviews in your bomb wicks and this saved a few of my brushes I thought wouldn't hd a point after cleaning. Turns out it was a few bristles that needed to cut. Awesome video. I'm going to try your ignites. What would u recommend size wise compared to size 1 and 0?
Awesome! Glad it helped. Our Igniters run a size down from what you're used to, so a number 2 would be like a number one in other brands, and a 1 like a zero in most cases.
When you email us (sales@slowfusegaming.com) it helps a ton if you include a pic of the brush problem so that we can work with the factory to solve and make sure we catch it earlier next time. Thanks!
Hey man, you still sell this soap? Should link it in the description or something... Or maybe its linked somewhere and I’m just dumb E: yep, I’m stupid. His website is in his banner lol
So I take it that if I buy a Pro Sable hair brush from you I don't have to go through the process of removing the starch nor trimming the bad hairs because you've already done that before selling it?

1:22 second intro! that's long
That's the regular intro for our livestream :D - We do these short videos as part of our 3 hour show.
Damn, that was a longer intro than an 80's Metallica song.
Hey man, you still sell this soap? Should link it in the description or something...
Or maybe its linked somewhere and I’m just dumb
E: yep, I’m stupid.
His website is in his banner lol
Yep! Just an old video - monumenthobbies.com
your intro is too long
These are all outtakes from our live stream.

We do! We restarch the brush prior to shipping though (using our brush soap), so it's still necessary to rinse them before use to remove that.
